Ingredients 160 g (1+1/3 cup) all purpose flour 1/2 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp baking soda 12 g (1 tbsp) sugar with this amount you'll get neutral pancakes where Nutella is the protagonist; for more sweet pancakes, use 2-3 tbsp of sugar. 200 g (3/4 cup + 2 tbsp) milk or buttermilk for more soft pancakes. For homemade buttermilk add 1 tbsp vinegar or lemon juice to your milk. 1 egg 40 g (3 tbsp) vegetable oil 1 tsp vanilla extract 75 g (1/4 cup) Nutella

Hi Barbara, thank you! I use that kind of small pans to warm up small leftover batch, that kind of things that turns out too soggy if warmed up in microwave. They are useful too for cooking 1 egg that turns out perfectly rounded shaped :P

That looks yummy! How do I know the batter is not overmixed? I hate the clumps, you can taste them in the finished pancake :/

Hi Dorotea! I suggest to sift flour mix two times so you'll get very small lumps. You just stop mixing when the batter is almost totally smooth but with very very little small lumps. If you sifted your flour mix in the proper way before, surely your lumps will dissolve easily! If you keep on mixing hard your batter mix, your pancakes won't turn out fluffy because of the gluten.

Yes! They just probably turn out less creamy inside than Nutella.

Ciao Edward! The small nonstick pan is cute and gives a nice thick shape, but it's not mandatory...if you use a large hotplate they will turn out ok too, just with a different shape 😜 glad to know you're on Easter mood! Here in Italy we're almost in Carnevale festivity, which mens deep fried treats and doughnuts 😋

You can substitute oil with butter, but since they are thick and they need to cook for more minutes to cook through, butter will turn them out less fluffy.
