Hi, I see you upgraded from the DeWalt saw to the Pegas. In your honest opinion I would notice much of difference between my DeWalt tyle1 saw and the new Pegus. If not I’m going to tear down my DeWalt and grease and check bearings.

Dewalt 788 Scrollsaw is a great Scrollsaw and I still use mine today the Pegas does have a cleaner less aggressive cut, but I would definitely service your DewaltJust to maintain because it is a great tool

Thanks so much for the kind words, the ring light unfortunately is discontinued from where I have it from, Workshop tools in Tennessee discontinued them, I am searching for a new one as well

What kind of double sided tape are you using. Do you fin difficulty with the pieces separating the more you cut out.

It was just regular carpet tape, depends on the thickness and grain of the wood try to stay away from cutting with the grain , so it will not break evenly with the grain
