I love this seat. I drive a large SUV and this makes getting my child in and out so much easier and safer. An unexpected benefit are situations where I have to remove my child while parked inside the vehicle for a feeding, diaper change etc.. I looked at other models that offered more weight/height or even a booster seat option and found that the material and safety wasn't up to the same luxury and standards provided with the Nuna Revv. Things like forward facing tether, fabrics without Flame Retardants, solid metal base construction, superior side impact protection, can I still fold my seats down without hitting a cup holder?, ect. I see others complaining about 43". I would point out that the average child of 43" is 6 years old, which is after most children would be transitioned to a booster seat.

I think the one thing keeping me on the fence, is the 40 lb weight limit forward and rear facing. That doesn’t make much sense to me, cause at that point, why would i ever use it forward facing? If you have a good answer to that question please do share. Im a new dad, looking to keep my baby girl safe. We currently have the uppa baby knox, and will most likely need to return it because were having fitment issues with our car. Nothing wrong with the seat. I love the seat in fact. And i hate that were having to go a different direction.

@@JacobLongActingJourney average kid reaches 40 pounds around 5 years old and kids typically switch to forward facing around 2-3 years of age. So that gives you about 2-3 years of forward facing under 40 pounds, right? Obviously your mileage may vary and if your kid is 90th percentile you’ll outgrow it really fast and if your kid is smaller you’ll really get your money’s worth out of the car seat.

Eli replied on someone else’s comment that the Sirona S can’t be rotated without removing the tether so it’s not a true rotating car seat. I just started using the Rava about 4 months ago right before the REVV came out. What I would give for a rotating car seat. My boy is HEAVY! Had to switch to convertible from Pipa at 7 months old.

I'm about to buy one for my reborn therapy doll, it's weird how someone is selling one called Nuna Rava 360. Claims it's from a different country and looks every different. Should I get it? 🤔 I'm kinda debating on it. Looks very different. Update: She said and confirmed it's a Nuna Rebl or Nuna Norr 360 rotation car seat from Europe (2019 model) . Is this still okay to buy? I know it's not this version, but still the styling isn't the same as the Rev, and Rava USA models.

Great competitor to the Sirona S which also rotates 360 degrees. But I believe for the price point this Nuna Revv is lacking a few safety features in comparison, comes off more gimmicky if anything.
