Number of Diagonals In a Regular Polygon - Geometry
This geometry video tutorial explains how to calculate the number of diagonals in a regular polygon such as a square, pentagon, hexagon, heptagon, and an octagon. It also explains how to confirm the answer by drawing the diagonals in a regular polygon. In addition, it discusses how to determine the type of polygon given the number of diagonals as well as the sum of the interior angles of a polygon and the measure of each interior angle and exterior angle.

Thank you so much this helped me alot in my math test!!! Hope that you stay safe in these strange times😷
This is the third time this week this guy has helped me out. Thanks man, very cool 👍👍
Thank you for the math help, Organic *Chemistry* Teacher!
Mr. Organic Chemistry Tutor, thank you for another incredible video/lecture on the Number of Diagonals In a Regular Polygon. From the different shapes in Plane/Solid Geometry, it's really good to know how to calculate the diagonals of each shape and also the interior/exterior angles.
I used this in my exam and it really works and easy to understand
My brain drowning After I watch this video My brain saved my math
Made a complicated problem simple, thank you
fine,interested and much understandable
Thank you so much this helped me a lot in my math exam!
Thank u helping me ur video
Excellent explanation
Thank you very much
thank you bro you explain it so beautiful now i understand
Thnk uu so much sir this video is really very helpfull 🙏
Thanks🙃
i’m in 7th grade, this is a walk in the park!
Thanks a lot

You are great Organic Chemistry Teacher
Thank you this is so helpful it helped me in my tuition work !
Bro thank you so much, you saved my life :))
Thank You So Much Sir
Спасибо, несмотря на то что я вас не понимаю (языковой барьер, и все такое), но вы помогли мне понять эту тему!!!!! Благодарю!!!
Bro my teacher taught me n(n-2) upon 2 - n
OMG the best explanation ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks bro
tysm🥰🥰🥰
Thanks
Nice
Thank you from 2021dser
Thank u po🙏😇
What is answer?
Bro I wanna hug u so bad thank u so much
What is the use of this formula in future?

This could be used in architecture if you ever need support beams in an irregular polygon, as the number of diagonals aren't always apparent.
Why do you use 3 in the formula for the heptagon? I get it arrives at the correct answer...but why do you use 3 instead of 4?

Look I’m diving into to this blind too and I just want to understand it to I guess the number 3 is a universal number for these equations
greatttttt
Great
you should show n= -5 error because 14 70 devides by 5 2 and 7 so how did you get thw7 and the 10
How to find side of any polygon
i understand now
math in KZread is better than being in class tbh
👏👏
Triangle- 0 diagonals Quadrilateral- 2 diagonals Pentagon- 5 Diagonals Hexagon- 9 diagonals Heptagon- 14 diagonals Octagon- 20 diagonals Enneagon- 27 diagonals Decagon- 35 diagonals Undecagon- 44 diagonals Dodecagon- 54 diagonals Finish this pattern.
now understand the language of Diagonals.

I'm not the kind of person to comment on videos, but I would like to give my full, genuine appreciation to you, Sir! I was able to answer our quiz retake because of this video. I just hope our professor will still accept my answer. Nevertheless, I was able to learn from this. Thank you so much!🫡🫡🫡
