Numatic James is BROKEN!!!

Sadly Numatic James has decided to break down on me whilst trying to renovate a house! So it’s back to using the DC07 for now because I don’t wanna get my own Henrys dirty.
I still have the James, I might replace the motor when I get the chance to, but for now he remains broken.

The common fault in these types of James is that the bearings start to seize up a new set of bearings and it should be good as gold I wouldn’t think it’s the carbon brushes because if the suction is still the same as it was then it’s defo ur bearings

I reckon a new set of brushes and a quick clean of the fan and that James would be as good as new again 👌😉 Great video pal 😊

Either the fan has something stuck in it or the fan is starting to seize

moral of the video: never store and use a numatic vacuum bagless and in a cold condition it can kill its motor

Yeah motors gone. Better sticking a motor in.
Fancy using it with a worn out motor, no good and it's going to stink awful.. Maybe replacing the brushes will make poor James work as new again.

bro if u vaccum with a motor that sounds like that, DO NOT USE IT, there is a risk of exploding and rust up the pcb.

Well no bc another youtuber had a 2001 Henry and called numatic technical support and they helped him to fix it
