In game terms, the exploit that led to humans scaling exponentially was effective knowledge transfer. The ability to never have to start from zero, to use speech and sociality (and later writing) to pass on abilities and build on the achievements of their predecessors, is what made something as ludicrous as harnessing nuclear energy and sending people to the moon possible. As you said, no single human could have ever done those things. To invent the internet, one must first invent electricity, and to invent that, one must invent metalworking, which requires fire. The human mind is brilliant even in isolation, but it is the collective of many different specialists that creates civilization.

TierZoos video was a nice way to make people think about humanity in the third person, and put themselves into the perspective of other animals. There was no magic key that gave us a massive advantage, it was a collection of certain evolutionary processes going just right, for us to be able to take advantage of such things as knowledge sharing, which allowed us to constantly progress at an exponential rate.

Pro tip: if deer mains are attacking your gardens, Human mains have been preying on deer for more than half a million years, with some players even one-shoting them today. So, if you put your urine around your garden it grants the garden a passive intimidation buff.

Nobody needs to know. Lol

I mean, the main reasons Humans are OP is because of the extremely powerful Factions ('Countries', as the community calls them) that allows this class to craft high level equipment. Then again, out of fear from being permabanned from the server, they had to nerf themselves by restricting equipment production and usage, so the PK Guilds don't cause too much damage to the playerbase that likes to play in other classes. And then, finally, the main disadvantages of the human class in the current update - 'Faction Infighting' ('Civil Wars'), and 'Human-only PK Guilds' (otherwise known as 'Terrorists').

While all other animal builds have non-progressive gameplay loops, humans uniquely have progressive loops where the gameplay savefile of a previous player can be loaded up by a new player through the memory interface called "school", and gain partial instant access to the build experience of past players. It has proven to be the most broken ability in the game's history, and the devs don't seem to care about it at all.

Emergent Human Ability: Clap Description: User forces both of their hands together in a way that makes a “Clap” sound. Effects: Alerts all nearby players to your location, may inflict the startle effect if caught off guard. Unintended Effect: If used correctly, can cause a fly to go into the clap, as they sense something coming and take off from whatever surface they’re on. Counters: Flies and sensitive ears… sort of.

Humans are the most powerful build because they are so versatile, yeah there's definitely animals that can run faster, bite harder, lift more, see better, hear better, etc etc etc. But because we still do pretty decently on ALL of those stats the end result is just OP 😁 It's as if animals have spent their skill points on maxing out specific abilities, meanwhile we somehow cheated to have double the skill point budget but can only spread them evenly between all skills? 🤣 I do wonder, if we're ever visited by aliens, why do we assume that they would even want to communicate with the humans? instead of with whales or dogs or cheetahs or elephants or whatever animal with a 'maxed skill' that they actually care about? 🤔😁🤣 Nice video & reaction hehe 👍

i highly disagree with you on that. since just interacting with bats isn't really that dangerous to humans, it'S when humans try to loot deceased bats for stamina refills where the danger lies, so it'd be far more appropriate to say that bats have a very high chance to drop cursed loot.

I really enjoyed watching these vids from TierZoo, very different but interesting. Kind of the type of stuff you'd think about when smoking pot :P Regarding bats, I wouldn't say it's a skill or weapon they have, to spread viruses. They are simply immune to them or live in a kind of symbiosis with them. I think I heard that, the fact that they sleep up side down, is a reason for not as easily being infected. Can't really explain how, and the information was in a 3 hour long talk with many different topics and nothing was timestamped. But I believe it was Clif High on YT that talked about it back in 2020-2021 when the sun disease was spreading. Actually, he had made a program that analyzed the written data on internet and with the help of that somehow afterwards realized it was a kind of warning or "tell tale" of it, hence the name "sun disease". Don't want to flag the video with words if I can avoid it.

Humans are one of the worst design fails ever constructed by the devs. Practically every form of life has a bad "design" with no intelligence behind it. The devs really screwed the pooch here, though. I would argue that giraffes have it almost as bad as we do. As do ferrets, pandas, koalas, and sloths. We are arguably the animal with the worst "design." It is a miracle in and of itself that we can even exist, let alone move. Our spines are a mess and not sound at all. It is a wonder we can even walk. As bipeds, we have all sorts of problems, including our most vital areas on display, including our femoral triangle and guts. Our knees are not flexible at all. They are horrendous by any design standards. A socket joint would serve us much better than a hinge. Our head to pelvis ratio is all wrong, also thanks to our bipedality. This means that birth is a nightmare with all sorts of complications that can happen. It is super painful as well thanks to this and until relatively recently most mothers had a huge risk of dying from this, our testicles are exposed, our jaws are crowded, our arteries and circulatory system is a meandering mess, our retina are backwards, our food tube and breathing tube are right next to eachother with one single entrance, our brains are a big mess thanks to how they evolved, we can't synthesize our own Vitamin C, the male urinary tract passes through the prostate which has all sorts of problems, the proximity of our genitals and anus is horrible and the reason so many women get UTIs, our genitals are forced to have multiple functions which also causes UTIs, our knees can't handle our weight as it is all on two points but there is no correction for this unfortunately knee and back pain occurs in everybody no matter what, our sinuses drain upwards which isn't efficient at all and causes problems, we only have one set of adult teeth, our coccyx brings us many problems and sometimes infants end up with a small tail needing to be removed, we have no nictitating membrane anymore, we have muscles that don't do anything, we have tendons that don't do anything, our brain is wired to reward us when we eat high calorie sugary foods because it was necessary for survival before farming yet isn't anymore, we have a blindspot, males have nipples and breast tissue, our feet have too many bones, we deteriorate fast, testicles develop internally and have to descend. By far, my favorite, though, is a simple nerve. The 10th cranial nerve, the vagus nerve, branches off into the recurrent laryngeal nerve. This goes from the brain, all the way down the neck, loops around a major vessel of the heart and loops back up to the larynx. It only needs to go about 2 inches, but instead, it goes nearly 18. It's particularly egregious in giraffes where it goes over 10 feet rather than a few inches, but this is simply historical legacy. In fish, going around the heart was the most direct route. Fish don't have much of a neck, so there's no extension to worry about. It just goes directly there. The introduction of a mammalian neck displaces the heart and causes problems. The laryngeal nerve first evolved in fish as a direct link to the gills near the heart. Over millions of years and generations, many small incremental changes in length are always simpler than a major rewiring to a more direct route. Evolution can't go back to the drawing board. There's no foresight, and it's forced to deal with what it has. The devs really did not think this through. They clearly aren't very intelligent if intelligent at all even.
