Do you happen to know what size bolt you used to mount your yak attack roto grip to that pre threaded hole

Need to check out my motorguide xi3 video before you go drilling holes in your kayaks and putting pulleys and all that, no drilling needed

Hi Thomas, It looks like that battery just makes it height wise. Could you tell me how tall your battery is? Thanks :)

How do you control the trolling motor? How comfortable is the seat? Does it move 360 degrees? How much is the boat? Can you car top it by yourself? Would you do a demo to show how involved it is? How stable is the boat? You mentioned good stability but what type of waters are ideal or a bad idea? How heavy is it? Is it your first kayak? What type of fishing do you do?

The xi3 is controlled with a handheld remote. The NuCanoe Millenium seat is fantastic. It's comfortable for hours, easy to take off and put on, relatively lightweight and yes it swivels 360 degrees. The F10 is $1499 with the seat, the Frontier 12 is $1699, and the Unlimited is $1799. Those prices include the seat. Some people use a cooler as a seat, so they're a little less if you don't want the seat but I highly recommend it. You can also buy a casting bar which acts like a handle to help you stand up and something you can lean on as you stand, but I've never used one so I don't know how much it does or doesn't help. The F10 is 62 lbs, my Frontier 12 is 80 dry weight. The seat adds 16lbs. Yes you can put it on the top of your car by yourself unless you a sissy. The beam on the F10 is 39" and the beam on the F12 is 41". It is very stable, that's the main reason I picked it. I like to stand and fish. It is great for any body of freshwater body of water. Obviously I wouldn't take it down class 5 rapids but it's fine on a nice easy flowing river that you'd want to fish in. The long gear track is nice but it would be even nicer if they would factory install one on the gunwale so I could attach a cell block and fish finder there. The NuCanoe Unlimited does have gunwale tracks. The Unlimited has through-hull wiring so no drilling is necessary for installing certain add-ons. You'll have to cut holes in the Frontier to run wires though the hull from the back to the front. I bought the F12 a year or two before the Unlimited came out. It's a bit more expensive but that's what I would get if I could buy again. I am happy with the Frontier though. Great kayak.

I have the same boat, same battery and same motor. Do you find that the boat is stable and performs well with all the weight in the front? Or have you moved the battery to the rear?

Sorry for the late reply. I find the battery better in the front to more evenly distribute the weight, however if you did put battery in the rear you could just move the seat forward slightly so your own body weight would account for the difference. Hope that is helpful :)
