I'm the same. Irish Catholic here. Religion seems to be unpopular here right now. Jesus has always been there for me, and I know my grandparents didn't have such devotion for no reason. May they rest in peace. I don't think I ever fully understood the solace he brought to me. Even through my doubts, deep in my soul, I know I do believe.

I struggle with lust more than anything. im a lonely person. it sucks, but through gods grace alone and his unending forgivness i was guided through a peacful sleep and even managed to get out of bed when i woke up before i/or without sinning for this first time in a while now. praise and glory be to god. please like this so i can come back and remember what has been done for me, or maybe pray, thank you and bless you too amen.
