For seven years I suffered with depression, I attempted suicide twice in that time. The second time I tried to end my life, a warm presence held me as I left the hospital - it was Jesus Christ. After all of my sinning and cowardice he still came to me, he still held me and made me feel loved even when my own mother had chosen not to. He loved me enough to make me change my life. I have a spacious flat, I’m engaged and I earn more than many people. All glory is to God and Jesus Christ. Thank you for seeing my potential when I was nothing but a sinful coward. Thank you for believing in me, for not giving up on me and for driving me to be a better man everyday.

And no, the fact that there are important figures in the Bible who have sinned is not the same. Jesus is the only ultimate representative of God's will, and it is explicitly stated he never sinned. Muhammad did some terrible things despite being lauded as the ultimate example of Allah's will
