Joe has been a legend since he was a kid.....he still is a kid in my eyes. To find a lifelong passion when so young was a gift to us all and to him.. I envy that...love hearing him talk..so focused. XOX

Joe brings up a great point, about how music shop owners and employees can have a big impact on young kids. Kudos to Norm for investing in our youth.

I'm not a huge fan of Joe's music. His love of guitar is infectious but the fact he will pay more so he doesn't screw anyone over is a quality that is forgotten. True human!

As someone who loves to educate people about the things, I am passionate about, so does Joe Bonamassa… He’s a gem of a historian, and a teacher of music and guitar paraphernalia… And a heck of a humble and nice guy… Anyone who knows him would tell you that… Thanks, Joe. Thanks, Norm for educating and enlightening all of us! Dr. Renae 😊

I remember when I went to the Gibson Garage, and they let me play a custom shop Les Paul. The same day my dad took me to Arnold's in Nashville for lunch. Afterwards I noticed Carter's music and i grabbed a $3000 mandolin off the wall and played it. By the way, we drove 8 hours in his GMC truck from Louisiana to get there, I am from California.

legends are born. Any time a guitar "player"(not collector) tells you he is a legend, he believes the crap that someone else comes up with. Freddie King was/is a legend. Although, he never went around bragging about it.

Joe is so right about learning to play with a band, there is a young guy who has a fairly popular youtube channel who is a great home player has awesome skills, when he gets with his band wow its a train wreck. his drummer and bass player are not so great and it's screwing this kids timing and he is not learning the fine arts of performing, its really holding him back.

There are so many young players that are fantastic...but a whole lot of them are technique/theory driven, IMHO, instead of soul-driven...and too many shredders. But I agree with you concerning the "who's greatest ever" thing.

Unfortunately guitar isn’t about who’s the fastest or who gets to the finish line first, it’s about putting out quality music. Joe is a great player, one of the best around, but he could live till he’s 300 years old and still wouldn’t produce the number of classic tracks that a guy like Jimi did. Add to that the fact that Jimi made all of that music in about a 4 year span makes it even more remarkable. Again taking nothing away from Joe as he is an amazing guitarist, probably one of the most technically proficient of all time when it comes to blues/rock.
