Nowhere Safe (2014) | Full Movie | Natasha Henstridge | Jamie Kennedy | Danielle C. Ryan
After two girls cruelly impersonate her online in a "reverse cyber bullying" plot, Ashley's reputation is ruined and she and her mother flee a growing threat to their lives. Starting over at a new school, romantic interests and the poignant lessons from an eccentric history teacher draw them out of seclusion until they realize confronting a hurtful past is essential to ensure a brighter future.
Rising Above tells the story of a handful of everyday Canadians who were or currently are victims of bullying in their own lives. The film chooses to focus on the positive ways in which these individuals were able to rise above their circumstances and the adversity they faced. Rising Above provides a source of hope for those currently being bullied, and empowers students to be more understanding, more accepting, and an even bigger help to those around us who are struggling with challenges of their own.
Director: Brian Brough
Writers: Brittany Wiscombe, Brian Brough
Starring: Natasha Henstridge, Jamie Kennedy, Danielle C. Ryan

A bully is nothing more than a coward! They never fight one on one, and they also know the one they go after is already above them, like they are trying to bring they're victims DOWN to their level. Narcissists try to turn you against your family and friends and also vise versa. The more commotion, strife etc. They create, the better, that way maybe you won't see how truly sick in the head they are. Heads up, listen, really listen when people talk. Two faced, lying manipulative psychopaths is what they are, nothing innocent about them!

I remember high school very well. What was MOST disturbing was not that bullying happened, but all those teens who said and did nothing about it. Along with teaching all the virtues we parents must model and teach COURAGE. None of my children were ever bullies. One aspect that I emphasized was that if they witnessed bullying and did nothing, they were as guilty as the bullies. We cannot successfully teach our children ANYTHING we do not practice.

I was a dorky kid growing up lol I thank God I was only bullied once and I stood up for myself and we later became the best of friends and she thank God grew out of bullying. I had jock , smart, so called “dorky” friends. I never really believed in the cliches they have and I would stand up for anyone being bullied. We did have all this bs with internet bullying and the bullying then was nothing compared to how people bully others now. Bullied aren’t happy with themselves. They are often jealous of others and try to act tough physically or mentally to cut others down and make themselves feel better. Unfortunately the “good” feeling they get doesn’t last long so they continue the bullying. There are friends out there for everyone of us. No one is truly never alone. Stand tall and proud and don’t let anyone ever tear you down or make you feel small. You are always better than the person bullying you. It sickens me that people take bullying so far that others actually harm themselves because of it. We need to be proud of who we are and not let people like that get to us!!!! Stay strong and bullied you need to get a real life and knocked down a few steps❤️❤️❤️

This happened to my daughter 15 years ago so watching it was a painful reminder but i watched it anyway. I like the ending. For us , we put it in Gods hands and moved further away. The good Lord worked it out for my daughter amd helped her heal from it . She learned to make better choices about who to hang around with. She is a happy responsible adult now , having forgave her offender. . . This social media scenario is also similar to what the news media is doing to divide people. Those who watch c/n/n or m-s-n-b-c or other mainstream news & hear the reports without fully checking out the story are like all the ppl in this movie who blindly believe. Our main stream media has turned into propagandists instead of professional journalism. Social media platforms also smear and slander but ban those who say otherwise . For those who dont realize it or havent experienced it , this movie shows how evil it is .

Great movie! Bullying is much more prevalent than we think. It is immature and can be intensely painful and pervasive, but that's the intent isn't it. It can end up inciting the victim to commit suicide or even murder. It can follow both the bully and the victim into adulthood. You have only to look at our political arena to see how ugly and out of control it can be. What makes it such a great weapon is that people seem to enjoy seeing others suffer so it's easy to disseminate. Social media provides the bully a broader stage and possibly even anonymity. Mark Twain once said that a lie will fly around the whole world while the truth is getting its boots on. How true! It is encouraging to see some schools teaching students (and some teachers and parents) good values, practices and behaviors. Kudos to them!

I'm a 1st grade teacher and I teach those good values, practices and behaviors on a daily basis. Even 6 and 7 yr. old children can be bullies, which I've witnessed numerous times throughout the year. Whenever bullying becomes problematic, the guidance counselors, often the principal or AP, and I get involved. We mentor the victims and the bullies, and reach out to the parents and let them know that bullying will not be tolerated. I wish schools would show movies like this to middle school and high schoolers as part of their anti-bullying program.

Just like in many situations if you don’t let it control and consume you then you are a survivor. Don’t allow anyone to try to take your confidence. You are the only one that can give it away. Bullies can not take it unless you allow it.

Wow, wow, wow!! What an amazing movie. This should be mandatory viewing as part of school curriculum. The outcome could have turned out very different. It shows how bullying can lead to suicide. Kudos to Ashley and her knights in shining armour for sending a message that her bullies could understand. And, I also loved the History teacher. Where was he when I was at school?? Thank you for the upload. 😘💕🥰

Watch "To save a life" it's also movie with more than one lesson we can learn from. There are decisions in life that we need to prepare for, we are not only responsible for our own good, but also for one another. If we act victim oriented, we won't be able to make the right choices. If we stand up for ourselves, we can stand up for others as well & therefore decide wisely.

Running away doesn't solve anything. No matter where you are, there will always be bullies. I have personally found two things that works, ignore or flip the script. I have been through it all of my life...56 yrs. old now...it didn't stop until I defended myself verbally with my former best-friend of 25 yrs. Yes! Half of my life!!! If they want to get physical, there's always extra help. Motivational movie though.

I have this to say about Bullying - because it isn’t isolated to Highschool at all. It’s everywhere - at all ages and stages of life. These are people - with subconscious deep unhealed Trauma that go around projecting their unhealed - ness onto the world around them. While we must address WHY there are so many people with unhealed trauma - we must also teach our children and ourselves emotional coping skills for life - because at some point - we MUST take responsibility for how we respond to others in this world. We cannot go around - living our lives being victims - or allowing others to be in charge of our emotions. It’s a 2 way street.

Many times in school there are girls who are extremely pretty, and are targeted by girls and boys who are insecure, and jealous of others, and I find that quite often these are the ones that get targeted via bullying by other individuals who are envious and jealous, and this quite often turns into malicious and physical endangerment as well as emotional trauma for the targeted victims of 'bullying ' and I was one of those girls who suffered greatly through much bullying not only thru all my 12 years of education but also i was targeted, and bullied by other individuals who either wanted my position at my places of employment, whereby lies were reported behind my back, which caused me to be let go from my job, which confused me for a long time as to why my luck was horrible as to keeping my jobs, and for many years I was so naive and did not understand most of what was happening for a good many years, about the truth about the why everything always ended up going south in my employment positions until I finally realized there actually were people who were evil and didn't care who they hurt and walked on in order to get ahead in life. And I was so nieve and trusting of everyone for many years, still believing that people were inherently good and wouldn't bully others either secretly behind one's back or even to one's face, and years ago, up until recently in the last couple of years, with movies like this one, finally bringing out that bullying has been around for a lot longer than many realize, yet it still appears to be getting much more dangerous and easier to steal another's life thru technology causing massive suffering for millions of innocent victims, causing serious grief, and lost time and money, whereby now, an individual is required to prove oneself innocent to the accusations and lies, which cause many financial ruin along with the severe emotional trauma that is severely dangerous to one's life in all aspects! Now one is thought guilty before proven innocent! Back when I had to deal with trying to find emotional support, I found none! And bullying left me with emotional pain that took years to heal, but thankfully I became born again from accepting Jesus Christ, as my Savior, it was God who healed my painfully broken heart from the bullying abuse, for which I am truly grateful, and I thank The Lord Jesus for helping those who produce these helpful movies and books, because they show the truth about how horrific and dangerous bullying is and it can and even does cause many young people and teenagers and even adults to commit suicide! I'm glad this was all brought out in the open because I believe that those who believe the lies about others need to stop and think and ask themselves this question, ... can this horrific abuse of bullying happen to me? The truth and honest answer is ... Yes, it can ... And those friends you trust may someday turn on you also, like many others do! Bullying is prevalent in our society today, and happens many times to anyone ... even you! Share this movie, but more importantly, if you accept Jesus Christ into your heart and life, He will guide you into all truth and you will have his strength and his support to fight whatever comes your way! I know this to be a fact, as Jesus is always there to help me and carry me thru all my problems, and he promises to never leave me or forsake me! And he can save you you to the uttermost! You'll never be alone again as long as he's your Savior and Lord! God bless and keep each and everyone of you safe in all things!

I can relate so clearly how hurting people hurt others with stupid lies. One after another and no one believed me. It made me stronger and able to release and let go. Thank God it all passed. Help came to me. As years passed. Like how witches were accused and destroyed. My worse enemies taught me to not be as they. I've out lived them.
