I support your comment totally! Maybe after awhile we'll agree that if we really want to appreciate the Beatles, let's just listen to the original music! There's plenty of it. All these new attempts at resurrecting the Beatles are just a testament to John's talent - what it really means is that we'd like to imagine that he was never killed, that he just kept making music. The guy who wrote the book "Shout" thought John was 3/4 of the talent of the Beatles. A stretch? Paul and George did some totally classic stuff, but they had so much "drivel" among the non-hits on their solo albums. John would have been more consistent. The assassination of John was an example of "God works in ways mysterious."

I think the Official version is going to be better, probably even different and we would get a better set of backing vocals from Paul and George, I mean its the Beatles and not a fake interpretation. Don't get me wrong this fantasy version is well done but it does not capture what Paul George and Ringo would have do or will do in the Official version coming out this Thursday.

dude the demo has unfinished lyrics and with just John humming, so Paul and George wrote new verses to complete the song. this is just a glorified fan-made track edited with samples altogether

Iamaphoney, I’ve been a fan of your work for over a decade. One of my favorites of yours is the supposed demo of that Peace of Mind. There was an interview with Jilette who’s heard the new version of Now and Then and his descriptions of the new version of this song match the version you presented long before then. I can’t tell if I’m excited to hear and see how much you got right or be disappointed that I’ve heard it already 😂
