Yeah, I completely agree stylistically, but many elements in the song are from Abbey Road, so I thought 1969 made more sense.

I was thinking this when I heard the other versions. It’s hard to fake Ringo’s drumming.

There’s one thing I will give you. You used all original Beatles parts to make this come true. And I admire that. I really love this version. It’s definitely something out of this world. It’s like if the Beatles made SMiLE

Thank you! It seems like a lot of us don't enjoy the official release very much and instead look for alternative versions. I think the official one is okay and I was deeply touched by the video when it got released, but unfortunately I must admit I dont find the production on the song very inspiring.

The original one doesn't feel like a Beatles song, to me at least. Even with this version using clips of other Beatles songs, that's the genius thing about it. If now and then is supposed to be the final Beatles song, why not have it celebrate the Beatles discography and closing the chapter like that. Totally beats the original, excellent job.

Exactly my thought! I don’t understand why they didn’t try to produce the new song more like the old ones. They could have gone together at Abbey Road and used the old recording gear or something. Or done something like I’ve tried to do here but with the original tapes instead of AI separated tracks from KZread. Anyway, thanks very much! I appreciate it.

Sure, but like many others I wanted to imagine the song as an actual Beatles song. Sadly I don’t think the new version feels much like that. I think they could have done a greater job at recording and mixing the instruments more like they would have done in 1969. Most agree that Abbey Road is a fantastic sounding album. I think the new version sounds too polished.

Well done! I'm surprised you recognised the drums from Hello Goodbye! The scream in the beginning of the of the Walrus section is from Revolution. Sitar in the end from Within You, Without You. Also, I played a bit of the Here Comes The Sun melody in the end of each chorus.

Thank you! I added piano, bass, backup vocals. And organ and strings in the I Am The Walrus part. I think that’s all. The process was mainly just putting together lots of isolated parts from lots of Beatles tracks, making them fit together. But to begin with I had a list of all the songs I saw fit for this song.
