I haven't had a separate laptop or notebook for a few years now because I've found the iPad Pro, especially with iPadOS, to be a great alternative to Macbook and the like. There are also only a few areas of application where the combination of iPad and keyboard cover doesn't get you any further. But one obstacle remains as long as you don't want to use Airplay - the connection to the monitor or, even more importantly, if you do use a Macbook or similar, the monitors.
In addition to 2 HDMI ports with max. 4k@60Hz, the Novoo Hub has a VGA port if you still have an older monitor at home, a Displayport DP 1.4 DSC, 2 USB-A ports, a USB-C port and, above all, a USB-C PD port with 100W input and 85W output power. Why is this important? If you "block" the USB-C port of your device with the hub, you still have to charge it somehow. This can be done via the PD port, which stands for Power Delivery. This standard allows you to connect your power supply unit there and the power supply is forwarded. This can be up to 100 watts, which is significantly more than the iPad power supply can deliver.
However, you can also connect your smartphone - provided it supports USB-C. Of course, it's particularly exciting that you can access your USB stick and use a TV to show your vacation pictures. Or you can simply use a keyboard and mouse on your smartphone. There are virtually no limits to the ideas.
