LYRICS
All by myself and the temperature keeps rising
I want to run away but I can’t keep hiding
It’s slowly creeping in, trying to take over my fucking soul
You know it’s over once the voice takes control, oh
And now I stand
Face to face with my biggest enemy
I can’t let go,
I can’t let go of what’s raging inside of me
Terrorist, Terrorist, I want it out of my head.
Take control of my brain, Erase my memory
Terrorist, Terrorist, I want the voice to be dead
But it lives in my mind, I am the enemy
Terrorist, Terrorist, I want the voice to be dead
Terrorist, Terrorist, I want it out of my head
Exhausted by the fights,
By holding you back; I’m under attack
Controlled by the Parasite
I can’t believe that this is all in my f*cking head
Terrorist, Terrorist, I want it out of my head.
Take control of my brain, Erase my memory
Terrorist, Terrorist, I want the voice to be dead
But it lives in my mind, I am the enemy
Terrorist, Terrorist, I want the voice to be dead
Terrorist, Terrorist, I want it out of my head

This is a certified banger, no two ways about it. I'll also add that some of these songs are growers, loved both this one and Lost Cause when they came out, but multiple listens only make the songs more enjoyable to hear. @Novelists you say you are having fun and it shows, and that's very refreshing as a listener. For those mentioning Matt, I'd point out that these guys and Matt are still pretty close, but artists have their creative necessities and differences, so it's great to see Sal3m and Novelists do their thing. It's illogical to me to complain when instead of choosing option 1 or option 2, you can have both...and they're both great. But that's just my opinion of course. Cheers

Can't understand the hate towards Novelists, for real. Bands need to change their style from time to time, as long as they do it properly, and that's what's happening here. It's a new age for this band. Of course Matt will never be replaceable, they are two very different vocalists. It would be way, WAY worse if they'd kept their old sound with the new guy, so I'm extremely hyped and enjoying listening to their new stuff! Bring it on Novelists. I'm all up for that shit.

This should literally be the theme for cyberpunk 2077, “Terrorist, terrorist, I want it out of my head Take control of my brain, erase my memory Terrorist, terrorist, I want the voice to be dead But it lives in my mind, I am the enemy” if that’s not V talking about Johnny idk what is

The instrumental of this would totally pass as a new doom soundtrack

Nah, it's too up-beat for Doom. I think the instrumental for this would be better for a fast-paced cyberpunk-themed shooter game.

I still love the older sound more but this one is really nice and definitely slaps harder than Lost Cause. I'll miss Matteo in the band but at least there's Sal3m, so now we have 2 great bands putting out good music, wish much love and success to both groups and I can definitely say that these boys have a bright future with Tobias.

Fantastic track. I like that 'core is dipping into more digital sounds, I like that I'm hearing more solos, I like that it can be catchy and not just brutal. More of this please.
