This intensive novel outlining workshop equips aspiring authors with practical skills for comprehensive novel planning. Weekly hands-on sessions include personalized guidance, sharpening your novel's premise, cast of characters, and world-building. Conor Kyle guides you in plotting through "breaking" your story into critical beats or turning points, and working out your protagonist's journey through each scene and chapter. The goal of this workshop is to help you prepare for the upcoming 90-day novel bootcamp by crafting a detailed chapter outline, a roadmap that empowers you to dive into the writing of your manuscript.This class also serves as an open lab to help you work through any final hurdles or creative blocks to finishing your novel outline. Conor's practical approach adapts each class session to individual student needs, so this workshop will be a crucial resource to help you turn your idea into a finished novel.

About the Instructor:
Conor Kyle has written for Shudder's Creepshow (2019) and placed twice in the Nicholl Fellowship with his scripts “Peter and the Wolves” (quarterfinals, also Launchpad top 10) and The Tube (semifinals). His screenplays have also been featured on special sections of the annual Hit List, Young & Hungry List, Spec Book, and on Tracking Board’s “Best Writers of the Year” booklet.
