How to connect physically two sending cards, one as a main with 4 outs and the other as a backup again with 4 outs? I'm using the MCTRL600.

Hi. Great tutorial. I think it only works for Novastar VX4s Processors or other that can link two or more processors by usb or RS323. unfortunately I do not have such processors. I have a VDWALL vsp605 and RGBLINK VSP5162. How to do it from one MSD300 send card using the two ports? I can not run more than 48 panel each 164x84 pixels using one port from the sending card. how to make 72 panels of 164x84 pixels screen size 9x4 (1512x656 pixels) work using the two ports on a MSD300? CAN YOU PLEASE HELP??

Hello sir I have vx4s processor So how to connect them each other and which cable?

I don't see this function in the newer novalct versions? Besides you don't need to link processors like mctrl600 or mctrl4k to run sync. If there is latency it is coming from the source. Usb port on mctrl600 is only for controlling the processor via pc, nothing to do with videosignal or syncing multiple processors Edit: apparently this sync option is only visible for VX4S and ProHD scalers, since they have internal scaler. Other 'passive' processors like mctrl300/600/660/4K don't have this option since they don't create latency and thus don't need to be locked or synced.

Different pitch LEDs will be requiring it's own RCFG files, so you will need seperate processors to have a proper control of both LEDs.

How did you link 2 sending card as one port for the pc and also they appear 2 sending card at novaLCT-Mars Can you tell me exactly how you link 2 processors and what kind of cable did you use then after it appear as only one port on pc

Hello Ahmed, linking sending card depending on the the device you use, for example if you are using VX4S it has usb ports to link processors, if it is old 500 or 550 it has RS232 ports. if you are using pc based card it could be usb(i guess not sure) some of them has rj45 ports to link also. After linking it doesn't become one port, its 2 processors linked together one can be used for backup or expanding output etc

That value will change as per your screen size, 1600x480 was an example !!

To be bit more specific here in my example my screen size was 10x3 using led panel (160x160px) using 2 processors one doing 10x2 and the other processor doing the rest 10x1 so total pixel size is 1600x480

How to pip with the help of software or processor

so you will need 2 units of MCTRL600 connect one unit to you pc using usb to RS232 and also to other unit using RS232 cable then you will see 2 devices in LCT software click screen config and at the bottom of the window Click add in redundancy area then in the next window you need to input 4 values 1: Serial number of Primary sending card - type "1" 2: Serial number of Primary sending port - type "1" 3: Serial number of Backup sending card - type "2" 4: Serial number of Primary sending port - type "1" now device 2's port 1 will backup device 1's port 1. 1: Serial number of Primary sending card - type "1" 2: Serial number of Primary sending port - type "2" 3: Serial number of Backup sending card - type "2" 4: Serial number of Primary sending port - type "2" now device 2's port 2 will backup device 1's port 2. i hope this will help you, let me know if this helps or not.

Hi Sundar, are you using a PC or Led Processors??

2 processor link up is work? question is 1 x dvi signal to 1920x1080, input to processor A output resolution is 2048x1152 (ledwall Columns16 rows9) for processor A and processor B is the same output resolution (ledwall Columns16 rows9) and then the screen connection is total (ledwall Columns32 rows9) follow in your video the same config, input 1920x1080 1 sourse output 4096x1152 (2x2048x1152) is still work? It will work, but you are streching a single 1920 wide signal across 4096 pixels which will look very very very stretched. Possible but not recommended.

​@@GrijuRaju thx your expound because i use the 2layer switcher output to full hd native layer is pro video player software the pro video player software step 1 choose the resolution 4096x1152 image 2, config the image in scale to Stretch to fill live layer is PPT, i scale the layer for the led wall look like 16:9 image look like 32:9 but i know it wasnt dot to dot config

Dwight Waithe I haven't used vdwall and vx4s together. but I have used multiple vx4s with multiple 500 and 660 .. 500 connected using a rs232 to usb and vx4s to another usb port .

Yes , on your screen config tab/page right top corner you will see screen 1 , if you click the drop down menu you can select screen 2 , then you will have 2 screens, you can have a different pixel pitch screen on number 2.

hi, but you need a 2 DVI´s with the same imagen or 2 DVI´s different images, and how you connect on the two MCTRL600 with one pc

+Joel Ventura Feed same signal (image) to both processors. You can connect both processors to one pc using rs 232 cable. So usb to rs232 male to 1st processors rs232 input then a rs232 female from 1st processor's rs232output to rs232 input of second processor Then you will see 2 processors/sending cards in Lct

MCTRL 600 DOES NOT HAVE A rs 232 port..

My screen resolution and led resolution not match. My pc resolution 1920x1080 and led resolution 960x576. So my view of image cutoff . So what can i do now. how to set resolution..? please give me a good solution.

@@jhonjesusocsa5163 i think lvp615 has cat 5 ports labeled as rs 232 in and out, so connect from your first processor's out to second processor's in and so on, then when you open LCT you will see them linked.

you should be able to .. if you go to screen config page > sending card > then set the sending card display mode to your custom resolution by checking custom option. give it a try

@@ahmadibrahim6253 It all depends on how you doing the play back, using a media server or resolume etc., if you can cut and chop using your playback software then you can try to utilize max capacity of each processor. but are you using different signals for your both screens? then two separate processors for each screen will be needed. I was suggesting to use 2 separate processors and separate cable run to both your screens but control both processors from LCT Software.
