The worst thing that happen to Nova career was ECW dying in early 2001 he was primed to have his breakthrough that year no one in wrestling had a better move set then Nova during his ECW days

I once saw him pull off a DDT/Stunner/LegDrop combo on 3 guy at the civic center in Poughkeepsie NY. It blew my mind, always a fun dude to watch during his ECW run.

Worked out with this Cat at a gym in Tom's River NJ right around the time set he was readying himself for his WWE spot. He's got a twin brother, nice enough cat, we'd bullshit about various Wrestling orgs, like CZW , he first told me about the Supreme fire incident. A close friend of mine was a real good friend of his during the ECW years. All in all, a pretty decent guy.

I love how this dude acts like Jericho was praising him hardcore when he was like "Jericho told me I could call the whole match"...like 10 other guys said that they were told by Jericho they could call their matches too lol.

guys in his position are put there to stooge. let's not twist it up. jim ross was when he was in that position, johnny ace was, dreamer was for heyman in ecw. they put them there because the boss can trust them to tell them when something is going on, good or bad. it's a respect position.

cgram75 What did he achieve in ECW and WWE? He never won any titles in either of those companies, and he'll always be remembered for having the most D.O.A. character in WWE history. Even with all the brownnosing he did in WWE and ECW from what I heard he still didn't do shit with his career.

THIS guy did the best he could woth what VINCE ASSIGNED HIM....u gotta understand something... once vince pitches you an idea.... like it or not you HAVE TO bite onto it....so you say ok i can do it, and its up to you to make it work....so lose the attitudes saying so and so sucks while half of you out there sit there in the comfort of your homes bashing every damn thing.. till you can do better, respect it and stfu..

Ah Nova...I don’t know what happened. He was so cool in ECW. I was a huge fan of his work, 2000 he had all these cool moves. Seems like once he got the big job backstage, he became a major doosh.

This looks amazing. He holds nothing back.

I don't know why he hates Roadkill so much. But despite his demeanor in this shoot, you can't deny that Nova's Kryptonite Crunch finisher was one of the best moves out there.

Bob Holly's book way WAY more honest (and humble) than anything that has ever come out of Nova's mouth. I'm going to trust Holly on this.

Metallimark87 lol maybe. but then again like i said it never came to fruition so we'll never know what different gimmick he would've had if they had that particular idea in mind for him and we could only assume he would continue being Roadkill and then he would've easily been the least threatening opponent for the Undertaker's undefeated streak at Mania lol. so again thank god we never saw that idea come to life lol

+frank bonini i was aware that they did do a new persona with Roadkill named Antoni Polaski. i wasn't watching OVW so i don't know what he was doing as Antoni Polaski, i'm just aware that was his name change in OVW, but regardless of what character he was whether he was Roadkill or Antoni Polaski when this idea was pitched, i still don't think him wrestling Undertaker at Wrestlemania would've been big like Bruce Prichard thought it would be.

+frank bonini i agree with you in the sense that it would've been more believable than the Roadkill idea especially if the rumor was they were gonna pair him with Kevin Thorn and Black Pain essentially giving Hade the numbers advantage. but would a feud between Taker and Hade Vansen work if WWE didn't scrap Hade's character? possibly. i know around the same time Hade had 2 matches on FCW TV with the same character and they were alright matches despite a few miscommunications but i wish they could've ran with that persona and given Hade more chances before releasing him.

Funny thing about Roadkill, I vaguely remembered seeing him team with Danny Doring against MNM on Velocity. I looked up the match, and I swear Roadkill took no bumps whatsoever. The finish was weird, because Roadkill got the hot tag and was running wild. Then he tagged in Doring, who soon got rolled up for the 3 count. It's like, what the fuck? Looking at this shoot, I guess that's either because he was the drizzling shits or because he was being hard to work with when it came to putting together the match.

I Remember the Match on VELOCITY, as Well. The Commentary Trying to Put Over Doring & Roadkill as the Final Ever ECW Tag Team Champions, & It Being a Mediocre at Best Match

Always wondered if Damien Sandow got over quicker than he was intended to from the office. So they kill his heat and give him comedy gimmick. Those typically have short shelf lives.

Nova never drew a dime and never would have done anything significant in the WWE, it's a nothing gimmick. Simon Dean was a great attempt at turning him into an old school heel, it didn't work in the end but it's still far more marketable and memorable than anything he did as Nova.
