Thank you so much for the wonderful spotlight video! It was an amazing experience and honor representing our community at such a large convention. Thank you again to everyone who came out to play and those who helped put together these amazing tables. We couldn't have accomplished this without you. Our team is already starting to plan for 2024. See you at the tables ;) -Erica

Thanks for the awesome Interview Miranda :D It was a pleasure to finally meet you in person and meet Tommy! To echo what Erica said, We couldn't have accomplished this without all the work our fellow community members have put in. Whether assembling houses on our craft night, gluing trees to bases, or painting up Ios, so many people helped make this happen. It was a pleasure working with them all and I think if anything this year will give us the momentum to make it even better for the next one :)

I love 3D terrain and narrative events. I had a blast at GenCon in the Narrative events all 3 days, and I will do my darndest to make it out to Nova 2024. The Tried & True folks are always cool.

As someone who used to write those terrain article’s for No Quarter . It is very nice to 3D terrain for Warmachine again. I never liked the 2d “terrain “ at all i down right hated it . I also love the community building these two are doing . ❤

Your guides really helped bring those tables to life. Thank you so much! I have a binder at my house full of all the hobby articles and how to guides for making that stuff :) Thanks for the comment. We'll continue with this momentum and we're excited for what it'll look like next year!

Those are some lovely tables! I am not personally a fan of having a GM at the table if it's too free range. I am really bad at improvising in game (as I found out at the Adepticon narrative event), and I had some interactions that disadvantaged me. I won't say they were negative play experiences, I still had fun, however. How I heard PP ran the narrative event at Gen con sounds more my speed, where you could get tokens by accomplishing tasks that could be exchanged for pre-determined in game effects. Less fluffy for sure, but helps folks like me who are crap at improv :P

Set types of reactions are a cool way to play too. Easier to focus on gameplay. I like that the new edition seems to support a more flexible style of play.

Did I spot some lego/building bock terrain? I won't lie, when I started WHFB, I built a Lego Castle. Clipped off the top tabs, where you stack other bricks. Ha ha. I prefer to build terrain with wood straps (popsicle sticks) and other materials I come across. Was years ago when I clipped off cereal box roof tiles. Took a long time, but I'm satisfied with the results. I have moved to Lake Havasu. And my terrain are in boxes, perhaps I will get the time to dig through my terrain, and take pictures and post them on the net sometime. Till then, nice coverage as always. Cheers & Beers. Erik.

That's definitely one of those things I'd like to get around to but it's not priority for the immediate future. It will largely depend on if I can find or establish a local meta again.
