Great job Navy. Another Notre Shame humiliation. The Notre Dame Cryin Irish are absolute frauds. Yet they still are ranked in the top 20 which is a disgrace. Notre Shame Cryin Irish, the most overrated, over ranked football team in college football history. The voting committee was dying to try to get the Cryin Irish back in the top 25 & the fact that not only did they put them back in the top 25, they placed them at #17!!!! What a disgrace that university & football program is & everyone of those poser Irish fans as well

I liked that all the Midshipmen smiled after that ND receiver did a reach around. They know what's in store for them after graduation.

Marine vet. Was there in dress blues on May 22nd 1985 when the great great Ronald Reagan passed out the diplomas to the graduating class of Midshipmen. My cousin was graduating that day. I was his first salute in which I earned a $0.50 piece as is the tradition. President Reagan was slated to hand out the top 100 of the class but he stayed to hand out the rest. Notre Dame fan all my life. Fighting Irish tattoo on my right arm. Go Irish! Hat's off to Navy.

@@bjchit most my friends made jokes about snapping to the punter or running backs. College kids are getting paid and this new portal stuff is going to change the game. ND has 70-80 scholarships. Stop recruiting and wasting positions on Powlus kid,bon Jovi’s kid, and 5’7” QBs and receivers. Not rocket science.

I'm surprised that Army and Navy did not play today seeing how it's Veterans Day. I don't know how that scheduled panned out but it would have been great for them to play each other today

Both these teams have respect for each other. The way that Notre Dame was scoring, they could have run up the score very easily. Obviously the wind over Clemson last week should have told you something like that and how fast Notre Dame was scoring the first half.

Despite losing, what a fiery comeback!

That broadcasting team were talking about Ben Morrison a Notre Dame player during the game, they said he have no personality because he is quiet, I mean what the heck was that, leave that guy alone, he is a great defensive player that is the most important.

This game vs the one that just happened shows the growth we wanted to see this ofd season

Wow. So glad I didn't go. What a game. Unbelievable. Irish are by far best college football team. To fight off a team who has access to fighter jets is amazing 👏

Navy is a team that is a lot tougher than people give it credit for. The triple option is hard to play against simply because it’s rare. Almost any team can get upset if they sleep on them

Another year, another loss. Thank you for protecting our country.

My one observation on Pyne is that his deep passes need a little more zip appears too much air under them. He is starting to play much better. Again ND must remember the game is 4 quarters. Very pleased in their turn around.

ND needs a good quarterback and they’ll be able to compete, drew pyne is such a liability

Notre dame needs to learn how to keep there foot on the gas all 4 qtrs offensively and defensively especially against navy 😑 frustrating 😤

Navy finally opened up the offense after weeks of predictable/defensible nonsense. Only now, after week 11, do we see what Navy is capable of. This is about coaching and knowing what your players can do. Navy is better than 3-7 and three losing seasons in a row.

Notre Dame been playing good the past few weeks, despite the slow start at the beginning of the season.

It's a respect game. It will never be a blowout between those two. The way that Notre Dame was scoring that first half, they could have easily run up the score. They have a lot of respect for each other so it will never be a blowout.

I’m sure that at halftime the ND coaching staff said “let’s not run up the score.” Please. Navy simply out played ND in every facet of the game in the 2nd half.

Things were getting pretty outta character for Notre Dame in the second half, this hasn’t been their best season, but I have faith in them!

If Navy would have played the first half like they did the second half ND would have lost this game big time. Our O-Line sucked most of the way through the second half and Pyne totally failed at getting rid of the ball before he was sacked which happened about a zillion times today. Pyne will take ND nowhere except to a mediocre ending and thats a fact. I can't wait until C.J. Carr gets here because this kid will take ND to the NCG. This kid has an arm and accuracy to boot!

An ugly game, but I will allow this win. Go Irish!

@@charleybarley939 To be fair, NC State is also really snake-bit and was overrated to begin with. They got whooped by Clemson and Syracuse prior to that, both teams ND owned. BC is also really bad a defending the run, unlike Navy, who is among the best run defenses in CFB surprisingly.

Uhh, you realize they have the #3 class in the nation for 2023, right? Seems like they're doing pretty well at attracting elite players. That wasn't the case under Kelly, but it is under Freeman.

Zero points in the second half for Notre Dame I'm sorry but Tommy Rees reminds me of Josh McDaniels of the raiders I hope both coaches are elsewhere next year

My god…….

This is one of those games in which Old ideas about football took on a lot more talent. The talent won, and by the looks of it, much of the difference in talent was size and strength, more so than a huge difference in speed. But, Notre Dame did not defend the option well. An interior lineman has one and only one responsibility in option, stop the dive or fullback. The linebackers, ends, safeties, cornerbacks, etc. have to worry about the QB and pitchman. But Navy had a couple long runs with the FB, leaving a DT unblocked. As a DT, you crush the FB and try to make him want to go home. Eliminate the FB as a good option, and there is much less to defend. ND did not seem well prepared.

Feels like a loss not a win. Very ugly win for Notre Dame today.

Hard to understand how Navy was successful in blitz after blitz but ND had trouble rushing the passer. Another thing that needs to be fixed. Boston College is licking its chops.

Simple. Navy stacked the line with 8-9 guys and played cover zero and just send guys crashing and overwhelmed ND's line with numbers. Navy also only passed the ball like 12 times, so not many opportunities to pass rush. They played off the line a good bit in the 2nd half, to keep things methodical and just run the clock out. It'd have been nice if the offense adjusted and ran some quick passes like in the first half to make Navy pay for their aggressiveness.

ESPN, shame on you. Great game, great experience as always. Then you ruin it by leaving before the tradition of songs for each side at the end, where teams show respect and gather together in front of fans. Respectful, spirit of the game, and military honored was ignored to rewatch bad behavior in Michigan tunnel, solutions proposed for bad behavior instead if demanding it and a narcissist bragging about his hat.

The contention amongst lots of fans and pundits is that Notre Dame plays up/down to whatever opponent they are playing and it does seem so. Having that in mind I can vision the Irish putting a beat down on USC in two weeks!

Such a terrible game for ND. One good half. This isn’t “silencing” doubters because absolutely nobody thought it would be less than a transition year-but losing to fkn Marshall and Stanford? GARBAGE. Worst losses in a decade. This was embarrassing.

ND out played by a cream puff service academy. Navy had more yards and first downs, too. A crappy team almost beat nd yet again. They do not deserve to be in thd top 25 rankings. Case closed.

Hopefully ND took some of the wind out of their sails. GO ARMY!!
