This. The gambling situation is like hearing ads for HGH every break during games, having each segment on sports shows "brought to you by EPO", and having gear a tap away on your phone. Correct.. Sixers fan, from Philly- they are really rolling the dice with Embiid. He is not someone who should be playing at less than 100%. @@k_hack9441it’s not only about scoring kid… OGs defense is a huge difference maker. He can stay in front of smaller guards. He can very much make Maxey, Harris and Oubres life difficult if he guards them. Plus he is a very good corner 3 point shooter in the playoffs.

Theres probably going to be regulations put into place down the road that outlaws or limits player prop bets with sportsbooks. You'll be able to bet game scores and spreads but not on players stats because of the manipulation aspect for individual players.

Mitchell Robinson look hobble. Don't think he will be able to keep up with even a 60% healthy Embiid. No one seem to talk about the coaching here. NN is one of the best tactician, if nit the best defensively in the league. Don't be surprise if he introduce some junk defense in this series. I think Batum along with Oubre will be the key guys get thrown on Brunson. Don't underestimate Kyle either. His impact is not measured in stats.

The biggest issue the Knicks will have to deal with is the Embiid whistle. IHart is going to have to play lights out because Mitch will not be reliable when it comes to defending Embiid. He absolutely struggles against stretch bigs and Embiid is one of the best in the league at being just that. Mitch will be in constant foul trouble so it falls on iHart to get the job done.

Maybe Randle being out is a good thing. He's 0-2 in the playoffs stepping up. It's a win-win situation for the Knicks. They lose, they will for surely improve the roster (even moving Randle in the offseason or within the last year of his contract) and get another star to pair with their system focusing on Brunson. They win, they will progress even further to being a title contender without another all-star who seemingly chokes in the playoffs.

It is so obvious that none of these people watched the game. His injury wasn't the reason he wasn't playing his normal game, it was the zone defense and double/triple teams. If teams do that in the future he literally could have legs sealed in cement and he'd be fine because his only job at that point is to pass the ball, which he's shown he can do. The problem in the beginning of the game was that he was trying to do too much while they were just refusing to let him play his normal game. This lead to stagnant offense and turnovers. Then in the second half Nick Nurse adjusted and they basically just used Embiid as a distraction. He also looked perfectly normal on defense. So, this narrative from the media about this injury being somehow different now than it was a few weeks ago is just proof they don't watch the games and just run with these weird narratives.

But I thought that sports were labeled 'just entertainment'. They get paid more than doctors, lawyers engineers, scientists, etc, just to play A GAME. Wow....

They literally lost that game because of Caleb Martin. Tough to say. He missed two free throws, which would’ve put them up 13. The crowd was hyped for free chicken, got the fans engaged, then, immediately after the two missed free throws, Batum makes a three. So instead of being down 13, with a set defense, it’s now an 8 point game. Then, after Batum’s three, which the crowd is still ecstatic, Caleb Martin turns the ball over, the crowd is fully engaged and it always favors the home team, momentum.

Pete Rose at least had the decency to bet on himself to win (which I have zero problem). Porter devalued himself by hitting his under. $20k for a career of riches. I haven’t even considered his brother in this situation but man do I feel for Porter Jr. has a chance for a repeat now he’ll have to compartmentalize something so close to him.
