The outro, to me was "approaching" Chris Buck' solos. And what an improvement for Mr Lee since a couple of years ago!! Thank you for being there gentlemen!
Very Cool Thankyou. Amazing Amps. Amazing Sounds. Cheers
I have a Fender Twin Tonemaster and you attenuate that speaker and crank the volume on it and it just sounds magical, so I get it. :). It is physically impossible to crank my amp on full power and be in the same room. It is LOUUUUD.
I went back and forth watching the original video of the SV20 and SC20 and the Friedman 20 watt amps for weeks straight before settling on the Marshalls. Maybe one day I'll have both but I absolutely love the SV20
I LOVE my mini Silver Jubilee combo! I stack it with a Marshall 1965a 4x10 and it sounds incredible with the included 12” Greenback.
Raw and with good input.
Cool demo lads, thanks the upload
I like what the Marshall Design Store does with the look of the amps now, some great vinyl/tolex and aesthetics. Cheers boys !!
I love how throughout this video even with guitars turned to zero volume, you can still hear the ambient noise from the amps, and even that sounds good!

Most of the higher gain Marshalls have a certain level of white noise. These are no exception. A bit of bummer when you do recordings. For live stage it matters less.
Great video guys...I plan on getting both a Marshall and a Cherry red Heritage 575!
Bought an sv20c because because it has the 10" speaker hoping it might be usable at home. I was wrong. it's an absolute deafening little monster of an amp. Sounds so good though.

Sounds great! I love my VS100 which i use for specific sounds but when i fool around and dial it in, it is amazing. Marshall is THE sound
Bought a Marshall origin 20 head from you lot last year got it running thru a 2x12 1980s jcm 800 cab and it sounds mint absolutely love the thing . 😁 want a sv20 when I can afford it 👌
My favorite amp for literally everything. Crank amp and use your guitar volume knob to dial in the gain..cleans up perfectly. Beautiful.
Love those grill cloth designs. I almost bought an SC20 head, but decided on a Runt 20 instead and no regrets. The Marshall studio series seem really good and I like that they're built in the UK.
Those Harmony guitars look SO good!

Almost every rock album of the70's and 80's was recorded using some model of Marshall amp! I have many, many (most all Superleads 50 and 100 watt). I love them all !!! It is the perfect tone. @@simoncote5995 My ears can easily tell the difference between a Marshall, and a Mesa-boogie in the 80's. (Mesa-boogie didn't exist in the 70's!) The difference in tone was vast. Nowadays, Mesa-boogie is copying the sound of a Marshall. Back then... a whole other playing field!
Morning gents! Great intro as always.
bought the mini plexi combo. The v10 sounds great..buuuut I had to get a greenback 12". It sounds amazing! I have a couple of pedals and may I just say, its a very versatile amp! The loop section? Well, usable on certain ocassions, unusable when the amp is cranked, unfortunately.
That off white Marshall was gorgeous in the store. Even next to the white EVH II
Sounds quite harsh over the internet, but could be the sound pressure on your mics or mic pre-amps clipping ? Sure it would sound killer in a mix either way

Would love to see a comparison between the SV20C and the PRS HDRX 20.
Surprising to see a V-Type in these amps. The V-type is quite Hi-Fi sounding
I would prefer a slightly upward angled baffle and a closed back cab with a 25W greenback in this combo.. The ultimate compact 4x12 sound of classic marshall..
That was some very tasty Cream style lead sound that Pete managed to get on the intro. Then he suddenly went a bit Hawkwind at the end.

I wish Marshall would do what Fender did with the Tone Master. Having a lightweight combo JCM800 or a JTM45 or BluesBreaker with emulated XLR output and being able to switch down to 0.2 watts would be incredible. I would buy that in a heartbeat.

@@davidkay3443 The gain structure of the Origin is a lot different from a plexi. The signal path is totally different, for example the tonestack in the Origin is plate driven instead of cathode folllower. The Tonestack is one of the most important parts of an amp in determining the tone.
Suggestion box: heads by Marshall vs. Friedman vs. Victory Sheriff, not necessarily which one is better/best, but pro/cons of each: tones, master volume/power modes, price, EQ flexibility, gain capabilities/settings, w/ or without pedals, etc.

Actually.....I have a 100 watt JVM 410H half-stack and a 50 watt VintageModern half-stack and they both sound GREAT at low volume as well.
i think l just heard Lee's best solo.
I have the magnificent...and, sadly, discontinued...Vintage Modern 2266C, with two Celestion G12C greenbacks (the ones used in the ltd. edition Jimi Hemdrix stack) and with a pair of KT66 output valves. The amp is effectively a Bluesbreaker JTM45 but with the luxury of master volume. I had a Bluesbreaker for a while and it required way too much volume at home to make it "kraaang," whereas this amp has that sound in spades but is playable at home volumes. Such a shame Marshall discontinued it.

Lovely Lee! In short LLC.
Don't get me wrong I love my Marshalls but I found the majority of the sound comes from greenbacks. Myself I actually like Laney a little better it has some more meat and potatoes than the Marshall. Truthfully though if you know how to dial in a good tube amplifier and you got a nice cabinet some good speakers you can pretty much get any Tone if you know what you're doing. I used to own two vintage Sunn tube amplifiers running 2-412 cabinets loaded with Electro-Voice sro speakers. I have to say that was one of my most memorable amplifiers. One head was actually a bass amp it was the 200s model I believe which later I used in a band with a Ric 4001 stereo bass into a 2-15 center baffled port PV cabinet loaded with jbl's to this day I have never played through any bass amp that was so magical as that set up. I would have to say I think my favorite Marshall would be the 100 watt bluesbreaker combo and the jtm 45

I had the head version of this amp (loved it, but had a bigger Marshall anyway, so moved it on for a Fender) - the cheapest way to solve the volume issue at home is to get a JHS Little Black Amp Box and run it through the effects loop - instant master volume! You’re welcome. 🙂

Yes, and no. Using volume control in fx loop does decrease the input for the PI and power tubes, where quite a lot nice things happen for SV. It leaves you with pre-amp gain and quite flat responce from the power section. Using a good attenuator after the amp gives better results.

@@tadask.4931 Maybe so, but I don’t think most guitarists wanting to run these a bit quieter for the sake of those in their homes are going to be overly concerned with flat response from the power section. The JHS is a perfectly acceptable (and more cost-effective) choice if you just want to enjoy the overdriven tones of this amp without destroying your ears, or your relationships with those who live around you. 🙂 FYI - I ran one for ages like this, and it never felt lacking. 👍
