EletraInRaged, check Tool out. My personal favorite band, the songs require deep thought and actually a bit of research. But I do agree, Nothing More is an amazing band, everything is original and different.

“Anchored in anger, we exile ourselves Bitter blood builds our prison cells” Amazing lyrics. I’ve heard people say their lyrics are cheesy but they have some of the most consistently good, thought provoking lyrics for me at least

"We always start with good intentions, but lose ourselves along the way...we are the jail, we are the key, we are free..."Really love that song and the way the music and the lyrics resonate with my emotions. Real masterpiece!

Jocelyn Sandoval yeah I had goosebumps the entire song after not listening to it for years. Believe it or not, when I was just thinking of this song (like singing it my head) I had chills

This is nowhere near my favorite band (probably not even top 50) but they are KILLER live and I'll never pass up a chance to see them. Absolute must-see band and you'll be surprised at how much heavier their live sound is. 10/10 live band

The intros cadence is from another song (im like 90%sure it is and im not just forgeting snd rediscovering the song its from.) cant fucking find it and its drivinig me crazy. I remember it not being from an alt song its from like some kind of Funk-y rock song but i keep searching and no luck

amazing, its like this band is reading from the book of my soul

This song I can relate too a lot rn. I've been stuck in a seemingly endless cycle of the same thing over and over and have ended up hating myself. My self loathing blinded me to what was really the problem and its taken me losing what I hold dearest to see it though. People, myself included, should take more time in developing themselves into a better version of themselves before they lose pieces of their life that could be a precious memory.

This is so the world right now. I'm so sad. I will pray and pray. God please be with all innocent people.

It'd be nice to go and see them live in concert again I saw them in September 2019 before lockdown started and the lead singer had a lot of energy the concert was really fun They played with another of my most favorite bands called Ghost

God damn this hits harder now today than it did when it first came out. I listened to this song a lot when it came out, but it hit for different reasons. Haven’t listened to this song in five years, and wow! New meaning, and it hits hard, because life has happened in five years, ya know? I understand the depth of the words profoundly.

It's called This Is The Time but some versions of the song cut off in the beginning so they just start when the heavier music picks up. So the "ocean floor version" has the beginning whispery part.

It's both. Track 1 of the album is ocean floor, track 2 is this is the time. This video has track 1 and 2 combined as they are heard on the album.

+redraptor 98 That's an easy way to explain it, but also how we as humans do stupid shit for the sake of attention. We let our pride lead us, as a result leaving all emotions behind. ''Walking blind'' pretty much resembles how we follow and do pretty much anything to fit in, in todays society. Also, as Timothy said, the verses are pretty much about people holding grudges, hiding emotion, fighting themselves and follow every footstep.
