To everyone hating on the fact that he's using his fingers to change his voice... I think it's amazing that he's doing that. I can't sing, and no matter how much I try, my singing will be kept to in the shower only. But he got around his imperfections by literally using his voice as an instrument. Physically controlling it. That alone is impressive, not to mention all the hate he gets for being himself. Keep making music. I love this song.

Sick manual vibrato! Darroh Sudderth from Fair to Midland used to do that all the time. As far as I can tell, it's more of a skill than a supplement.

If you haven't seen these guys live, you need to put that on the bucket list. I caught these guys opening up for adrenaline mob about 2010 or so, and I couldn't believe what I was witnessing. They are genuine guys, I have hung out and talked to all of them and I will vouch for their character. Watch at 1:45 when Jonny's throttle opens up. Love it!

using his fingers for voice altering effects is basically, no not basically but is just another way he uses his instrument which is his voice. I see nothing wrong with it.

God damn, you can just feel the power and emotion in his voice... Especially at the end... It actually made me tear up... I applaud... Love this band

Many times we hear songs of oneself going through mental illness and being self destructive but this song, to me is a look at the other side of mental illness, which is the people that we are hurting.

Without a doubt one of the most under rated bands to date. Johnny's vocals are always amazing and on point. Personally, I have never really seen any vocalists use that technique. Most vocalists go into a recording booth and it gets altered to where the end product is something complete different. Most vocalists can't capture how they sound on an album and transfer it to a live event. Johnny does an amazing job, and sounds just like he does on their albums. Actually, the band as a whole sounds amazing whenever I hear them live. Background vocals are always on point and Mark is always going full beast mode on the guitar. I can't wait to see them live again!

Yep, and a Tech. Usually end up on Bass because we've never had any luck finding a decent Bass player. I love playing Bass anyway. I have an 1818VSL running Studio One 2 Pro, Loving it.

Song is about his sister Jenny being on drugs while their mom was dying of cancer in the hospital. Deep shit.

Wammy Cammy marks guitar playing is hard to pick up by ear. Several different tunings with several different ways of playing

He can't vibrato well at all even when he shakes his throat. He should just learn how to vibrato since he sounds amazing otherwise till he breaks out the goat vibrato.
