I though only creams needed breaking in. Making it sound more like people typing would be neat. Yeah, a sound proof cover would be good.

Just throw a plastic trash can or something on top full of foam to quiet it down. But yeah, I'll be trying some of these out eventually. Def loud as hell, though.

Yes, make a sound proofing cover. 😅 Also, where do you get a switch breaking device like this or did you make it?

Hey man, i got 1 recently and i have been running into some problems, I used the files in github and have been running into problems with the plates (which you avoided by removing them completly and changing the design), and i have have also ran into problems with the motors, either the run too hot or just dont have enought force

I never run the motors for more than six hours at a time and only use one plate on either side, so far so good.

Going to make an enclosure with sound dampening foam, but I've got some ideas on how to make the machine a bit quieter using one of the many foams I have available to pad points of contact ;)
