I’m so lucky to have seen Sinead twice, first time in June 1998 at the Fleadh in Finsbury Park London. It was a small tent, just a platform for the performers not a high stage. I was only about 8 feet away from her. She started to sing this, you could hear a pin drop. She was breathtakingly beautiful, note perfect. She seemed so fragile and shy. When it came to the chorus we all sang it to her and she just listened with a tear falling. She was so grateful for our appreciation of her. I will never forget it, I cried then as I am now. Rest in peace beautiful soul 🖤🖤🖤

She was aware of the nightmare that was being exposed in Ireland and how it was being covered by the head of the church. Which the pope was the symbol of. But she was so punk she just did it and hoped people would look into the meaning of why. But instead they banned her. We miss and love u ❤.
