I thought everything aside from the judge, these two monstrosities and Eldona was boring. Valkenvania was definitely a cool idea just wasn't executed right. Some people call it the worst movie ever. I am certain that is not true. The Garbage Patch Kids movie is the worst I've had to endure, but the Ghoulies is also certifiably worse than this. That being said, this still isn't too hot itself.
@spencer10182
2 жыл бұрын
@@angelarballo4478 I enjoy the movie as a guilty dumb pleasure but I agree entirely with you saying it was a good idea but badly executed. This movie definitely had potential. In addition to a good cast the set design and attention to detail in this movie is really good. They worked very hard on little details and it shows. I am actually impressed with the stories I have read about the set design work they did. The problem is Dan Aykroyd thought being weird or gross was enough to make a good story but he forgot that there has to be something genuinely funny to go along with weirdness or gross out humor. Even with these two diaper babies it seems like he just said putting them on screen will be funny because they look so grotesque but in order for an idea like this to work these guys have to say or do something funny and they dont. Weird and gross humor can work but there has to be some type of funny payoff in order to succeed.

They were good guys (even though they were grandchildren to Grandpa Alvin who is a bad guy with his other bad guy grandchildren), especially since at the end of the movie they said that they love Diane and hate Grandpa Alvin where their Grandpa Alvin forced them to tie down Diane to chop her to pieces where they told Diane they wish to tie down Grandpa Alvin instead of Diane. Plus, as soon as Diane and her boyfriend Chris escaped, Bobo and Lil Dibel were crying because they missed Diane.

@afriendofbean

@@robstaaass I agree, that's a good theme. Especially their Grandpa Alvin excluded them from the family making them do work outside either because they looked like ugly aliens and/or because they were extremely fat eating too much cereal (it must be fattening cereal they eat too much of). If their Grandpa Alvin is excluding them because of their fatness, he should make them go on a diet instead of excluding them. However, at the end of the movie it showed Grandpa Alvin alive not dying in the explosion in his area and said that he and his grandchildren are planning on moving in with Chris after seeing his home address on Chris's driver's license and it's unknown if he took Bobo and Lil Debul with him or kept them excluded.

Bobo and Li'l Debil are great. Long live to Bobo and Lil' Debil.
omg, I haven't seen this movie in soooooo looooong lol They freaked me the f* out when I was a kid!
They really look like that model of what humans would look like if they could evolve to survive car crashes. Graham, I think, is his name.
I don't think Bobo and Lil`Debbull are allowed in the outhouse either.
This movie can best be summed up as a Tales From The Crypt episode in feature length film, which is also fitting considering there is a Tales From The Crypt episode that's very similar to this movie. Also, those two twins would probably get along well with the cast of Freaked.

There's a line one of them says; Oh Oh, I think I just dirtied my diaper! That was enough to make me gag in the theater.

My fraternal twin brother and I used to privately imitate Bobo and Lil’ Debbul after we saw this movie.
I feel like they could have just hired the Kipper Kids to do this and it would have been far more disturbing.
Love how critics gave it a HORRENDOUS review, yet today it's considered the ULTIMATE representation of the most classic 90's movies. Bottom Line: If a movie gets terrible ratings, it's key for "it'll be the best thing ever 20 years later".

@spencer10182

I find it sad but hilarious that the Grandpa ain't putting up with Bobo & Lil' Devil running around his house eating up all the food and breaking shit. Notice before we meet these two that the Grandpa never, not once, makes any mention of Bobo & Lil' Devil. He's that ashamed.
@AH-is5yg

He's just mad that they got so fat they couldn't finish high school. Grandpa didn't want no high school dropouts in his house. This could be one of the reasons why he doesn't allow them in the house. Imagine what they look like in High school and if they came to high school wearing only diapers and looking hideous deform babies.
Hi. We're not allowed in da house. 😂😂😂

They were def the good guys. I think the theme is don't judge people by their looks. Supposedly this movie is purposefully made based on occult symbology. 🔮🔮🔮
@afriendofbean

Dan Aykroyd and John Daveikis perform Bobo and Lil' Debbull. It would appear in the behind-the-scenes footage that these two are just full-bodied costumes for Dan and John to wear.
