This is the first song I heard from nbt. I was going through a lot. Had a lot of love for someone who just didn't feel the same. He told me to listen to nbt. This song came up on spotify. I gave it a listen and just bawled my eyes out. I wish he understood that I'd felt that deeply for him. I've got a new love now and I can listen to this song without my soul ripping apart. I will always hold this song dear.

These guys consistently show that they are indeed the best band around today.

I think the song is quite standard in terms of composition, compared to what they've already done. But its clear how careful they are in terms of production to make every song worthwhile. Even though the music is more simple in terms of melody and structure, I've enjoyed this adventurous approach on another styles, with 80's synths and new romantic influences. Sounds like a music from a "The Midnight", wich I love too! :) this band deserves more space to reach the lonely heart people

I love the message this song carries. All those sad love songs are bound to suck the energy out of us. They help us dwell deeper into our subconscious but it takes a lot not to return empty handed! Most people get destroyed by their inner demons, so sad love songs ain’t do much to em.. Change comes from within yet most of us are walking in circles and struggle to build an everlasting relationship. I must admit though that actually WRITING a sad song helps you release, so do that! Just try not to pass your pain onto the others ❤️ Love and peace y’all

The first time I listened to this song and album, I was driving for work in the middle of almost absolutely nowhere, in the rolling hills of my state. When this song came on, man, I had to play it again. Felt like I was driving in a dream. Something about this song.

Maybe there's one girl who's in love with this guy but she thinks she isn't beautiful enough (she got those Internet comments) so she turns into that other girl so that he wants her. And then he sees her in her real looks and then they wanted to be together but because he found out the truth she will be stuck forever so she let him disappear because then she'd be finally free. Altough I thought that the first animation shot the dude "runs" off the dark part of him. XD I know this doesn't make any sense but I don't know what else to think
