Notching Tubing with a Belt Grinder with Ian Johnson from @bigtiregarage
Ian Johnson from Big Tire Garage showed Beau his favorite way to notch tubing using a belt grinder. Not only do you get the notch consistent using the right size anvil, you can also put a bevel on to get a solid weld and cut down on prep time.

What I would have given to have that in the shop years ago... A bit more accurate than the torch, almost as fast and not nearly as hot.😂
There's much better ways to do this, belts are expensive. Don't be stupid and try to cope your pipes on a belt sander. That's not what they're made for.
Imagine how good all that hair gel goes with all that grinding dust.
coping on a belt sander sucks.
