this is a super small thing for using the “freehand” lasso. after you complete your lasso, if you hold your pen down on the screen, it will automatically turn into the box (which is useful for resizing and rotating what you selected). basically there’s no reason to use the box as your default lasso :)

Absolutely! When you create a note that you like, tap on the SHARE button, and choose PUBLISH TO THE GALLERY. If you just want to favorite a note to reuse for yourself, you can press and hold the note (when looking at all the note within a folder), and tap on FAVORITE.

Hi, Lauren, great video , thank you. I have a question you did not cover here but maybe you know the answer. How would you turn on spelling check on different languages? I see once you chose the language Notability will apply that to all notes. Is there a way to have the spelling language set different by notes instead so i could have english and any other language ? Thanks

Then you are fortunate in that you would have been grandfathered and have full access to all of Notability's previously paid add-ons except the maths typing function. Known as 'Classic' version. No subscription for you.

I just noticed that the backed up files on google drive are worthless. You can't open the file as it appears in notabiity. It's divided into categories, (most of which are blank) and the only things you can really open are the images. Can anyone clear me up on why this is the case? Or, what I'm missing. Thank You

When I start a new note,I don't have the words Note in the top left hand corner like you do. It's in my settings but doesn't show on the note itself. How do I get it to show?

Greta question! Tap on the Settings (lower-left corner) and choose Document. Under "Default Note Title", mine says "Note". So anytime I start a blank one, it is always titled with "Note". You can totally change this!

I hope apple comes out with a feature like this for Ipad users. This App gives me a headache. What they show in the video tutorials are not in my 2023 ipad pro features.I really Apple comes to save the day with this feature so this stupid app can disappear.

In the documents window I have been trying to change from List view to Icon view but unable to do so

When you tap on a folder, scroll to the TOP of all your notes, and you'll see the toggle between Icon and List view for that folder.

i lost my notabilty data , i did not log in in the app, but when deleted from ipad, all my notes were lost , plz help if i can restore.

Oh no! Unfortunately, if you didn't back up your notes, then once the app is deleted, the data (or notes) are lost 😔 I'm so sorry that happened to you.

Well its not free at all it charges monthly subscription

There is a free version, but it is limited at the moment. Our school district has full access to this app though. Apologies for any confusion 😔
