{Not too Sweet} Condensed Milk Buttercream Frosting recipe

In this video let us see how to make Condensed Milk Buttercream Frosting recipe using just 2 ingredients. This frosting is not too sweet or too gritty unlike its American Buttercream Counterparts.

Ingredients:
228 gms (1 cup or 2 sticks) Butter Unsalted and softened
140 gms (5 oz) Sweetened Condensed Milk
1 tsp Vanilla Essence optional
This frosting is enough to fill and frost a two layer 8 inch cake or doing simple swirls on 12 cupcakes

Tried this recipe and it's actually pretty ok for me as someone who strongly dislikes buttercream because it's either way to sweet or way too butter tasting. The condense milk I used is called Longevity Brand Sweetened Condense Milk. You can either buy it online or at your local vietnamese market.

Also known as Russian Buttercream. So easy to make and buttery mildly sweet.

Hi Can this be used to decorate cakes? If it's not stable enough, can you add a stabilizer?
can u give ingredients messurment for 10in cake crum coat and top coat ( cream not for layers) only for crum coat and top coat

This works on piping flowers on cupcakes I do have a video for the same on the channel.. so definitely you can make buttercream flowers too I believe.. it does remain stable unless kept under direct sun light
Which brand’s condensed milk youve used here?
Is this will be sufficient for 1 kg cake

If using Melted Chocolate, is it Couverture or Compound & can we use Dark or Milk or White Chocolate, akka?

I haven't tried the chocolate version yet.. I would add melted dark chocolate would go so well with the condensed milk flavour. Start with 50 gms and then you can gradually increase
