Worst thing about new wheels: not having the confidence to stop when you need to. I've had some success with using a sander on new wheels to wear away that outer sticky layer.

it seems like the frame can shorter on those. i dont like long frames ,my current frames are 257 mm and 110 wheels Edit i googled them and the frame seems to be short , this means low cuff is an bad idea

These frames are longer than they could be, there are some spaces between the wheels. Although I don't feel any lack of agility or otherwise stability. After 3*125 they are pretty agile.
How fast are you going on the Arise??

That's a controversial point . If you have a good technique and are not going to take some huge gaps(more than 5 step stairs etc) then for some flat city jumps less than 1 m height it should be ok. Also all the pro highjumpers are jumping on carbons simply because they are lighter. And also shock absorber steals some control from the push.

Surprisingly not. I think that the good fixation of a foot removes any additional movements inside the boot comparing with the freeskates so it's pretty comfortable even on bad surfaces
