We are Tony and Jane and we are living in and renovating our old Relais De Poste/Coaching Inn.
We live in the middle of France in a region called The Berry.
We have over 40 rooms to renovate so there is plenty of work to be done. We also love to trawl the local Brocantes, flea markets and antique shops for quirky furnishings and furniture.
We love to find out about local history and often visit other peoples buildings including our friends’ Chateaux.

I didnt know if my nerves could stand watching Tony bring down another giant tree, but bargain hunting, I'm coming along!
The table and chair were amazing bargains, and they are beautiful! Can't wait to see what Tony does with the iron scroll pieces!
Brocantes are always fun! Thanks for taking us along!
Loverly day's out with Tony & Jane thank for taking us all with you 🤗🤗🌹💐🌹 Love Sue ❤❤❤🇬🇧❤❤❤🍰☕🍰☕
I love brocantes! I really enjoy coming along with you when you go to them.
Your brocante items are beautiful. That table was a real bargain. Thanks Jane, once again. Many of us live vicariously through you and your adventures.
Jane you certain need to unwind after that tree chopping, enjoy the brocantes!
That writing desk is 👍. Thanks Jane and Tony, I enjoyed shopping with you. I would have owned that brass lion door knocker if I'd been there.

The irony two different times you find nearly matching mirrors and now two nearly matching tables 🤣😂🤣
The scrolls are a great find. So many uses for them. Gates balconies doors signage or flower pot hangers. Outdoor lamps. Tony can have fun with those. Would be good to frame a window as well.😊
I always love “shopping”at Brocantes with you and Tony. I love the way, Tony looks and examines things. Happy shopping! I’m trying to catch up to your vlogs that I have missed and I am doing it in reverse order . 😂

You did get a few good bargains. That tin chicken seems outrageously priced!❤
The copper measuring spoons would look good in the bread oven room on the wall.😊
I love it when you brocante shopping. Jane, does Tony ever let you buy the items you show us that you admire?! 😂

I’m always up for a brocante cruise with Jane and Tony! Hooray! Besides, I need to rest after my fear watching Tony falling that huge tree! ❤️
That man must have thought that chicken laid golden eggs. 😂
I love all you and Tony do , including your brocantes shopping . I just wish we had fabulous places to shop at here in Saskatchewan 🫶🇨🇦
That was a great video. I would have bought the coffee set as a gift! Thank you for showing the stalls so clearly. The chair at the end was perfect.
Basket full a scrolls was a real good find❤

After the last ep I expect you would want a little distraction and you have great taste you do and work so hard I hope you had a nice lunch too I notice a lot of them have food I could not stay away from that :) That one chair and those bikes were interesting.
Looks like a giant flea market cool😅
I can paint my nails now, I didn't have to bite them lol. A brocant is a lovely change from tree felling. I love the table, the carving on the drawer looks like a cat that wants to be a dragon 😊 ❤ 👋
❤ yes I spotted that Mirror with the black edges and gorgeous detail . One day I will be coming to France and would love to stay at your BnB and go to a Brocante with u . 😊 ❤❤.

I`m wondering: if you don`t know what something is, why not simply ask it? I wanted to know too, you could have educated us. Love you two and how you let us in on your life. Greetings from the Netherlands
Thank you for the trip to the brocante,it was fun!

Hey, I love your purchases. The table is beautiful and I’m thinking the carving is an eagle or similar, though at first sight I thought it was a cat. Looking forward to seeing you both soon. Love to you and Tony x

Heat lamp for a hairdresser? Or old fashioned and dangerous sun bed lamp? They’re my guesses 😊

These remind me of flea markets here in the U.S. but with much prettier finds.
You need a small cart to take out to a brocante to carry heavy things.
Thank you for taking us along to one of the wonderful brocantes that France is famous for. I love your purchases!

I'm no expert but, if it's old, then I suspect the scrimshaw on the tusk with the carving of John Paul Jones may be worth some serious money. At 19:33, regarding the brass piece with the initials S L d H; could they signify Societe Legion d'Honneur?

I didn't ask the price of the scrimshaw tusk, but it had a Do not touch label on it, which usually means it is expensive Theophilus. You are right about the Legion d'Honneur, thank you for the info x
Dragon or snake
Is it an infra red lamp ????
