The smell is a real thing. It's very nostalgic! I remember when I was grabbing base and jungle and team rocket packs from the shelf at the stores. Man those were the days!

Yep. Smell is one of the strongest links we have to time travel. Never take those experiences for granted!

I remember going to the Wizards of the Coast store in the Mall of America growing up in Minnesota and seeing Fossil, Jungle, Team Rocket, etc. there. Those were the days!

Love that you guys are always supporting one another! Also, Evolving skies packs are 15+ dollars a pop now. They just keep getting more expensive. So I don't blame you guys for wanting to shift from sword and shield in these.

I say NO. Last time I order it got lost, this time I ordered a 5.0 and they sent me a 4.0!!! So dissapointed in these experiences

I first started collecting back in '99 with base set, but as a kid it never occured to me to keep said cards. I've only JUST started my collection anew with Scarlet & Violet, specifically Twilight Masquerade's release, although I've been very luck with my pulls from Obsidian Flames too.

Started collecting the originals when I was young, got pulled back in from 151 and enjoying a lot of the new alt arts 😄

I HATE THAT PEOPLE STARTED HATING ON REV CUZ HIS PRICES WENT UP 3 bucks. HES THE POKÉMON ICON AND HES SO TRANSPARENT ABOUT HIS PRODUCT BUT YET PEOPLE STILL HATE ITS SAD

Revs gold packs.. so beautiful, almost as beautiful as our Vault top tier! RAINBOW! My kid and I first starting in Sword and Shield right around evolving skies. We had no idea how good that set was. lol

My Vault City packs just came in today.....dont let me down lol. For when I started, my memory is jungle and fossil but I do have one base set wrapper and cards for 1 pack of base set in my childhood collection. So I opened one pack of base set as a kid. I did also open a couple Rev's 5.0s, with combination of low end S.V. packs and PoGo, I'll probably wait till further along this gen to get more. I dont even see 151 or Paldean Fates in anyone's packs, it's either S.V. Base, O.F., P.R., T.F. or T.M., with a PoGO, so it's on the low end of value pack wise even. It went from roughly $20 for chance at a vintage pack, to almost $40. and that's what people I think are seeing. It's a gamble yes, but the raffle price doubled.

Like many, I started collecting with base set when I was a kid and like most, loved the heck out of Pokémon but unfortunately gave it up and sold those cards when I was young and regret it every day since but recently restarted the drive to collect firstly with a master set of 151 and hopefully will be able to continue to have a fun time collecting cards and maybe more master sets of sets I have missed since and new ones to come!

As a kid I fondly remember collecting the Team Rocket set, whenever my grampy was going to the bookies he'd buy me a couple of packs to keep me quiet (US translation bookies is a betting shop). Only recently got fully back into collecting and first goal is to try and complete the set.
