A lady mason :) (Some Californian lodges have a ladies auxillery with a separate name.) allowed me to read her masonic book. It was historically innaccurate in several details. She wanted me to become a mason. My best friend of many years had been a mason, but was convinced that no Baptist could also be a Mason. They claimed that Masonry was begun by the masons that built Solomon's temple. They do mention Biblically historical names in connection with that. What I found out years later from Christian author dave Hunt was that the highest level Of Masons and Rosicrusians unite in the high occult Golden Dawn society. I had been a member of the Rosicrucian society and read several of their books in the "70s. I left that occult society when I became a Baptist believer a decade later.

Which Masonic book? What was inaccurate? How would a non Mason have a Masonic book? What level of Mason is the highest level?

@@former9085 I am a history geek. I know a bit more of what the ancients said and did than most who "went to college." There are many former Masons who left the lodge that have told all as well. Basic facts do not change except for those who want to re-write history.

@@russell2910 the only secret in our lodges are our rituals. You can knock on a lodge and get a free tour. If you absolutely want to see the rituals there are plenty of books on your local library but you wont get the same experience. I can explain you Romeo & Juliet or Swan Lake but unless you experience it live its two completely different experiences. The rituals are there to teach you life lessons and reflect to your moral & ethics.

@@nathanwallis7845 nobody is getting paid. You pay a yearly fee to run your lodge expenses. Electricity is unfortunately not free. In most countries the Lodge expense calculation is public.
