Alternate Title: Watch Lakia get increasingly thirsty for Jack “Bone Daddy” Skelington for 23 minutes straight
He's called "Bone Daddy" for a reason 😏
I’m glad I’m not the only one who thinks jack is fine 😂
So, I wasn't the only one simping for Jack as a child(and now). Feeling better now.
Jack Skellington is voiced by BOTH Danny Elfman, AND Chris Sarandon. Elfman was hired to do the music for the movie (and has frequently collabed with Tim Burton, like in the 80's Batman movie) and Elfman recorded the singing for Jack before the dialogue. Burton tried to do the VA dialogue for Jack, but didn't have the acting chops for a lead role, so Sarandon was hired because his speaking voice matched well with Jack's singing voice done by Elfman.
I still want a spin-off where Jack walked through the St Patrick’s day door lol
Tim Burton wrote the poem and doodles that inspired the story, and it was a bunch of his friends who wrote the scripts, songs, and rest of character designs. I believe that's the gist of his contribution.
I had a crush on Jack in Middle School. I can’t help it. He’s funny, smart, charming, whimsical, and deliciously dramatic at the perfect time. He so expressive with his body movements and he has class
I wasn't allowed to watch it as a child but when I did, I understand the hype. Its a cute movie. And Jack
i can assure you that jack was indeed my first ever cartoon crush lmao 💀
When i was a kid i had a crush on jack and Víctor from the corpse bride 💀

This never gets old. For some reason old style stop motion seems to capture the magic of this type of fairy tale. Great reaction Lakia Jai.
Jack was one of my worst childhood crushes 😍 i was obsessed with this movie in high school!
Your editing kills me every time 🥺😂 we Stan a comedic queen
This film is an amazing portrayal of character development of someone who was learning to be better after realizing he had done and encouraged cultural appropriation. By the end of the film, he gained more appreciation to his own culture, and how to properly celebrate other people's culture and custom.
That part where he poses on the platform in front of oogey boogey is perfect. I always have to rewatch to a couple times
I don't know if you're into music theory at all, but this film actually dabbles in it a little, and you can hear it in Jack's lament, and Sally's song.
PLEASE I REMEMBER I HAD SUCH A CRUSH ON JACK WHEN I WAS A KID😭 I KNEW I COULDNT BE THE ONLY ONE
