Not Fishing Clean On Lake Okeechobee

Once again going into a tournament with no practice and fishing a history area. Had the bites to fill a limit of bass but couldn't keep them pinned. The only lure I could get bites on was the Z-Man Jack Hammer, specifically 3/8oz. After loosing the lure by running it over with the trolling motor, I tried using a 1/2oz Jack Hammer. The fish didn't want no part of it...

Nice! They are fun but they also can be picky at times. If the water temp is off by one degree, they won’t budge 😂

I’m using a galvanized continental for 14’ Jon boats. Got it at my local ace hardware. Little beat up but holding out strong!
