If after seeing all these facts put in front of you and you still hold on to the delusion that LeBron is the goat then your opinion is disregarded. If he's your favorite player then cool but that still shouldnt outway the stats and facts put in front of you. You talk about him doing LeBron dirty, well guess what if Lebron didnt do those things like flop, cry foul EVERY shot, or sandbag on defense then there'd be nothing to show or bring up.

If his father hadn't been murdered or if the team would have been kept in tact after 98', they would have won at least 2 more championships. He lead the league in scoring in 10 of those seasons. MJ was 9x 1st team All-Defense including a DPOY award in '88, 5x MVP, and 6x Finals MVP. LeBron played 11 full seasons for the Cavs and delivered 1 Championship and 1 Finals MVP.

Naturally, in 2003 when we drafted Lebron, I was no doubt rooting for him to be better than MJ. If back then, someone from the future told me Lebron would be better than Jordan and the Cavs had him for 11 healthy seasons my first question would be “How many finals do we win? 7? 8?!?” ….I could even be convinced if he only won 4 in 11 seasons with the Cavs. But 1/11 vs 6/11? I’d have to be like “Listen man from the future, I dunno how they rate players in the 2020’s, but come talk to me when we get a guy that can win us more than 1 title before you start telling me they’re better than Michael Jordan….My favorite sports team of all time was stomped out of historical existence by MJ, except for that stupid fucking god damn shot over Greg Skee-lo

You really don't understand what he means when he says its easy to get to the rim. In the 80s and 90s you didn't get fouled... For almost anything. You could hit a guy in a way that would've landed you a jail sentence if done off the court and still not be fouled. Add to that the fact that it was the era of "big men" defence. If LeBron tried to get to the rim against someone like Bill Laimbeer, he would get an elbow in his throat and sit out the rest of the quarter... And he might not even have gotten a free throw for it. Today you get fouled for looking at someone the wrong way, sure... But it's WAY easier to get to the rim.

They may not have all been healthy but they did play and contribute heavily to the teams success also nobody talks about all the injuries MJ Bulls teams suffered because they won! But Scottie Pippen had injuries throughout those runs! Dennis had injuries and fell off majorly, And MJ was the only All Star on his 98 championship team they still Won! LBJ fans because they watched him they give all these excuses not realizing the same excuses could be given to MJ teams! The difference is victory! @@jamesbelleza5377 Yea he definitely carried that team but that team wasn't a part of the 8 straight appearances, that team and the LA team were out liers in his 10 appearances. And if we keeping it a buck AD carried LA to the finals. That season was without a doubt AD best and he was phenomenal led the team in every stat but assists. LBJ deserved Finals MVP but AD carried the team up to that point! That being said the last run with Cleveland LBJ did some extremely heavy lifting! To be honest I think LBJ mentality holds him back more than anybody cares to admit! They rather make excuses for him instead of pointing out that we watched him quit more than once! Because no one in the GOAT debate has ever been demolished in the playoffs the way LBJ was in the Finals against the Spurs. Not MJ vs the Celtics! Not Wilt vs the Celtics! Not Kobe vs the Celtics! I mean no other player in the top 10 has ever been so definitively destroyed at any level in the playoffs regardless of the odds! And a lot of that has to do with the media and fans letting him off the hook for losing! I think he is content to just pad his stats and claim that makes him the best! Sorry but it don't work that way ask anybody if they would take Bill Russell's 10 rings or Wilt Chamberlain's unbeatable records and 9 out of 10 times they'll say they want the Championship! LBJ is great and when his career is over he will stand on an Island alone in career stats but MJ stands on his own planet! By every metric MJ is the greatest NBA player we've ever seen!

I get it. It's hard to watch a childhood hero be gone over with a fine-toothed comb like that. Heck, I grew up in the era of 1980s Celtics, growing up in New England. For me, the Bird, DJ, Parish, and McHale were the thing. I would have bet you dimes to dollars Bird was the GOAT, being a childhood hero. But, time passes, you grow and mature, and you have to accept facts. Bird and Magic were surpassed by MJ, and the only player to come close to him was Kobe. It's like in the sport of Ice Hockey, I make people's hackles rise when I tell them that Gretzky is NOT the GOAT in the sport. Bobby Orr was. To assess which one was better, you have to set hero worship aside and do the math. Moreover, the only reason why Bird didn't have MJ's numbers was because he had some guy named Magic against whom he played. The only reason why Magic didn't have MJ's numbers was because he had some guy named Bird against whom he played. MJ had those numbers because, for the majority of his career, there was no Bird or Magic against whom he played. Look, I'm not saying it's wrong to look up to LeBron. The fact he is a famous commodity in the NBA speaks volumes about his skill as a player; you don't get there by being a slouch. May LeBron make the Hall with all the deserved accolades that come with it. But, facts don't lie. Lebron compared to the rest of the players in the NBA, he stands head and shoulders above all who played, and he will go to the Hall, no question; something which the vast majority of NBA players will NEVER do. However, in a direct comparison with MJ, not only does he not measure up, BUT NEITHER DOES THE VAST MAJORITY OF THE NBA IN HISTORY EITEHR. Don't feel bad if LeBron doesn't measure up. It's okay. Many great players don't measure up to MJ.

I grew up and had the pleasure of watching both men play. I must say, LBJ doesn't even come close to MJ (just by the eye test alone). I enjoyed your reaction because of how honest you were being. But I noticed your spirit breaking as your prédictions of who you believed would be on top in each category, were slowly revealed as incorrect. LBJ is a great basketball player, but he was never doing anything close to what MJ did. It's put as simple in the video as you can get. To be the best, you need to be the best in all areas, not just in some. And MJ was the best player on both sides of the court, even moreso in his prime. Even after Larry Bird's Celtics beat Jordan's bulls, he said "that's god pretending to be Michael Jordan".... I'm yet to hear any player who beat LBJ or lost to LBJ, describe him in that way. If anything, players felt like they were killing the hype (as they were - LBJ was being called the next MJ in highschool and did not meet expectations in his rookie year - they even gave LBJ rookie of the year award even tho Carmelo had better stats than LBJ, and they were rookies together - same year, same season - how does LBJ get rookie of the year? 🤔🧐 The NBA needed à face is why, and they already hyped him up beyond belief) MJ has easily solidified himself as the best to ever do it (to date - these numbers don't lie - he's top dog and just à SG) and we probably will never see another talent like his touch the court, in a long time. He was truly a special player, and easily the G.O.A.T 😎

I seen both in their primes/careers and when you don't know what is going to happen versus watching a KZread video of like the shrug game (so you know this is when Jordan hit those 3s), it hits you differently. LeBron has that advantage NOW. He has the advantage of not only playing more years to showcase his legacy, but he has the advantage of surprise for the younger generation. And yet, younger generations still have the debate or say it's very close but Bron is #1. Most of everyone else have Jordan #1 and don't debate it much. We are almost 20 years from when Jordan played his last game, and he still gets talked about as much as LeBron does. And LeBron is still playing. A player gets talked about LESS after they retire. LeBron will be talked about LESS after he retires. Luka, Giannis, Ja, etc... Will be the headlines. But yet, Jordan, is still here and Jordan doesn't say much at all. That shows you how big Jordan's legacy is. 🤷🏾‍♂️

I'm a portland trailblazer fanatic. My favorite player of all time is Clyde drexler. With that being said let me assure you the one thing I will never be is UNREASONABLE... MICHAEL IS THE GOAT AND IS NOT EVEN CLOSE

I really enjoyed this video, loved how you started from what you know and are passionate about... and was considering subscribing to your channel... but in the end, when you chose feelings over thought, you lost me. Like you said so many times, I'll give him that, I ain't going to lie." Then, in the end, after acknowledging fact after fact, you changed and said, "I'm going to stick with my feelings," you lost me. That is such a poor way to make decisions. "This girl has done this to me, and this, and this, and this... but that's all okay because I still love her." Eventually that person will be force to realize "This girl is going to keep this up forever if I let her!" That's when the light has finally come on. I'll check back on you some time. Catch you later!

With the MVP's they did the same thing to Jordan. In the year that Karl Malone won MVP, Jordan should have won that, but just like with LeBron the voters got tired of voting for Jordan, just like with Lebron the voters got tired of voting for the same guy every year. The difference is play style which can't really be compared unless you want to compare LeBron to Magic who is more similar and Kobe is a straight MJ clone.

LeBron is the GOAT if you like cumulative stats or stats with no context. And the best part is all those stats and analytics he leads in INCLUDE his wizard years. MJ coming back to play with the lottery Wizards team near 40 with bad knees and wrist did LBJ a favor. It lowered his overalls to a point LeBron isn't as far behind if we just had his bulls years.

The problem is cumulative stats almost never determine a GOAT, in any sport. Its the reason why Kareem is not considered the GOAT right now. Its the reason why Emmitt Smith is not considered the GOAT running back even though he has the most yards in a career. Cumulative stats don't mean better, it just means you played longer. ESPN will try to convince everyone that Lebron is the undisputable GOAT when he passes Kareem in scoring. Its not true now, it won't be true then.

Jordan was averaging 31.5ppg for his career before he came back to play for the Wizards and he was shooting over 50% as well. Those couple years brought him back down to 30.1ppg, a hair better than Wilt but still on top.

@mpound97 And the funny thing is, when he wasn't playing with significant injury, his numbers were still pretty good. I mean, trying to play through a meniscus tear is wild.

13:20. What KD did in 2016 is EXACTLY what LBJ did in 2010 lol.

You big mad, even with clear evidence you still deny smh!! Lebron is a beast bro, but he's not on MJ's level at all, and I'm saying this while my favorite player is Magic Johnson 🤷🏾‍♂️

Just say that your a really big fan of Lebron and that he's your goat. Dont tell people that he's the goat. They have experts, evidence, former players that says and statistics that proven MJ is and been the goat. In our old heads mind we saw and witnessed MJ greatness.

4:27 explains everything we need to know. This was entertaining though, I give you that. For example at 5:40 you say LeBron should've got more MVPs but he didn't cause he was getting them so often the NBA wanted others to get it. Using that theory, Jordan would still be ahead of LeBron because he'd have won every MVP of the 90s besides the time he spent retired, plus the one he won in 88.

I give this kid credit for actually listening. He’s still wrong, but at least he sat through the entire video without annoyingly making stupid points trying to debunk the argument. Hugh props my man. You’re still wrong though. This is no discussion.
