If In doubt leave it out is the saying to be fair mushrooms would be the last thing I’d look at if I was in a survival situation 😂

Great video you captured some really good badger footage it's interesting how they hold on to the sticks to stop them moving about while eating. Some wild mushroom identification would be good to learn about.👍

Love that dangly stick footage! 😮 great stuff buddy! Right not going too deep here 😂 mycology aka looking at fungi is a rabbit hole of discovery, good field guides are great but spending time with someone who knows fungi is invaluable to get the basics, I always recommend learning the ones that’ll definitely kill you first lol 😂 we have the worlds most poisonous mushroom in the UK! The Death Cap 💀 once you eat that your not coming back I’ll explain more when I see ya buddy but horse mushrooms are in the same family and look extremely like yellow stainer fungi and that’s poisonous and some books will say one fungi is poisonous and another will say edible if prepared correctly, easier to chat about it lol😂. Got all my kit in’t van birding and camera so let’s get out and do stuff! See ya’s tomorrow! X JP ❤

That smooth waterfall effect will be use of a tripod as needs to be steady and then messing with the exposure time. I use the full auto to get the settings then switch to manual and turn down the appature several stops and then make the shutter speed slower / longer. Should get smooth water . Then reverse if you want fast action shots like birds

Dan if you put a bigger roof on the bird table it would help to stop the rain getting to the seed, may be try some acrylic sheet. I am going to try some of your ideas with the peanut butter on sticks to see if the badgers take to it here.

Tonight's video

I think the water effect you seek to capture on waterfalls etc is done using a ND filter which restricts the brightness going into the camera to a darkened level then you switch the camera onto a long exposure shot , camera must be on tripod 🙂

Sound advice Dan, some poisonous fungi resemble edible fungi at different stages of their growth. Tree and fungi identification would be intresting to watch especially a serious one 😊
