I still have my Rollerblade Lightnings. At 65 I might be getting a bit old for it.

Love that you filmed the levels of skills needed before going head on safely into traffic. Just want to thank you for making these vids, I live with multiple spinal fusions and rods and could never skate again but it is psychologically empowering to live vicariously through you. You help more people than you realize.

Powerslide Zoom is literally 30 yrs ahead of that Barbie skate in quality, tech and versatility. The Barbie skate price is mostly licensing, not the components themselves. You can actually grow as a skater in the Zooms, on the Barbie's you are forced to be one dimensional. I didn't know pomade is in again, must be Ryan Gosling's doing. I remember my dad always uses pomade and the pillow got messed up when he takes a nap.

You should do a video of like what your main skates are and how to get all the parts and build them. i seen in one of your videos you had a bunch of links to some different websites and stuff and i tried putting it all together but wasnt too sure. It would be nice to see exactly what your main skates are and what all parts are needed and such. me and my gf are looking to start roller blading together in our city. Thanks in advance if you do this!

I've been riding a fixie bike for more than ten years, and now I have an overwhelming desire to learn to ride a roller. I'm 34 years old and I only had experience with rollerblading when I was very little, but watching your videos, this desire only grows more and more! You seem like an incredible person. I used to skate as a kid and by 14 I was pretty damn proficient, though I only ever skated on sidewalks etc. I then didn't skate for over 10 years (I'm 27 now), until I got a pair second hand and realised my muscles had all completely regressed on me lmao I'm tryna get back into it, and now that I've found your videos, whenever I watch I find my whole muscle system firing off the way it would if I was skating along with you, completely subconsciously on my part till i notice I'm swaying slightly in my chair lmao Your vids remind me of the incredible fun I used to have when skating, and i'm hoping I build the skill up to be half as capable as you are (once I find somewhere to practice where the local teens won't laugh at me lmao)

Your vids make me wanna skate so badly! I've got (before c) the four wheeled Next skates, but I barely used them. They're awesome, can ride on anything. I was skating a bit back in a day but I was never good at it. Still fast 360 turns and stopping are very difficult for me. I got cowardly and stopped trying altogether. Loved it, though. Was like flying. Best thing ever.

So this is how i get most of my speed quickly. Quick, powerful crossovers where the power comes from the outside edge of my inner foot.

Another great video! The skates are hilarious as a movie reference. Only a Ryan Gosling type could pull it off. I see you pulling moves on non rocker/wizards that I can only dream of! Great work! I subscribed to clope24 Christian as this vid looks great. He did a great job as follow cam. What gear did he use. I saw in the shadow it's a small handheld but what exactly?

Yes, I love doing the wizard style moves on all Skates, the rocker frames really help you progress and understand your edges regardless of skate that you try. I think Christian is using the Sony FX3 on a Ronnin gimbal. Idk exactly but he's a legend and I love filming with him.

Man, I miss blading. Also, as someone who bikes and uses his electric scooter around town, the city is getting small, lol.

Randomly saw channel where someone on a bike chases people and films them and he was filming you for a long time behind you. Terry B is the channel “chasing strangers” insane street skater

Impala in-line skates can be good for a beginner, but I think there are better options on the market that are more cost-efficient. These are the powerslide Zoom skates which look like the impala ones but are better quality.

Man riding in the bowl on those funky looking boots looked fun as hell. Rare that u get to to zoom around a bowl by yourself on big-wheel skates. Are wheels really 80mm? They look oddly small to me. Maybe it's the color.

@@aiyalidat or you can just call it the star slide depending on who you're talking to haha Mixing it up is a great way to keep things fresh, I find myself using one setup for a few months and then going with something completely different and then back again. Over the past few years I've ended up with everything from aggressive frames to 3, 4 & 5 wheelers 😀

Are they comfortable? The skates look good but doesn't look too comfortable so I wonder if you recommend buying it?
