hey girl had the same problem with mine. Tried the sea salt and it brought it down A LOT but what i used to get rid of it entirely was Aloe. I would cut a small piece of it, skin it and put some of the slimy stuff on the bump and around the piercing every night and then washed it off in the mornings. I did that every night for about a week and it got completely rid of it!

Emily can you tell me how you stored your Aloe plant leaf. Do I put the pieces in the frig or just leave it out on the counter in a container and for how long can I keep it. I'm going to try this method because nothing is working for me. Thanks

@@tati0201 hey u can cut it into pieces and store it in a container and put it in the fridge. i suggest slicing the pieces and keeping the skin on it tho and just cut the skin off the piece your gonna use when you use it !! keeps it from going dry. or you can leave the entire leaf? on your counter as well just saran wrap the spot you’re cutting so it doesn’t get ugly or attract flies or saran wrap the end and place it in the fridge as well if you have space in there! either way is fine aloe doesn’t really go bad quick. got my nose pierced again last year and got a bump again... this time i used saline wound wash. which i suggest using every day whether you have a bump or not, but for bumps spray some of the wash in a container and microwave for no more that 5 seconds so its warm dip a cotton swab and clean your nose piercing with it, seen someone on here call it a warm press? you can also grab a shot glass with warm water and put sea salt in it and soak your nose in there for 10-15 minutes every day until it’s gone, definitely helps as well also recommend doing that once in a while whether u have a bump or not. good luck !!!

i used, after trying sea salt, tea tree oil, aspirin, everything under the sun, and seeing no results, rubbing alcohol. this was around two months after piercing, and please do nOT USE rubbing alcohol if your piercing is less than two months old.. but i want y’all to know that it went away in literally two weeks. please don’t resort to this immediately, but if you’ve been watching everything with no results totally try this ! AFTER TWO MONTHS i’m also not a professional but letting y’all know what worked for me

I like how I said 4-5 months ago when it's been 3. It feels longer lol my bad let me just correct myself now haha

Hey I got mines piercing last week Monday with a gun n I had to change it to a normally nose ring I use warm water n salt to clean it .. Its healing well ...hope I done get the bump ..

They hypotropic scaring can be activated more by the ring and it happens when the piercing gets irritated. Sea salt paste can also create micro crystals around the piercing post so don't do it too much.

My bump started to form after my dog threw herself at me when that happened she hit my nose

if it comes back for any reason try what my piercer told me which worked wonders and got it down very well, because the tea tree oil and sea salt wasn't working enough on me. I have videos on it here on my youtube page. chamomile tea!!

i had the bump for more than 3 months and it was not a normal bump it was extremely huge ....i went to the doctor he told me to take out the earing i didnt do that but i did go through a lot and just to let you know i have a flat piercing or a cartilage one and i ate some many antibiotics and i got a tetanus injection just in case that bump affects my body i had headache frequent ones and .............then what i did i took a very clean beaker boil some water in it the water should be quite hot and then you take some cotton and dip that cotton in the water and then put that on the affected area and u should be able to feel the warmth ness of the water ............. do this for about a week for about 4 to 5 times a day you will see so much difference .............it worked for me so much am happy ........fingers crossed i hope it works for ya.......

Since then my bump has still remained there but now it’s gotten SO much smaller thank god , I’ve just been doing salt soaks every day and tea tree oil even though I don’t see any use of it but yeah , I noticed it scabs up from being dry once in a while and falls off but them that fresh little bump remains until the next scab ... weird

I got mines like 3weeks ago ... I'm using the antimicrobial liquid soap to wash off the baterias and a spray to clean it and it's helping alil bit but I like the idea of using the tree oil is it safe I really hate the bump and the soap is not helping a lot ??

Jessica H I got my nose pierced about 2 weeks ago love it only thing today I was cleaning with my antibacterial soap and man it stung so I looked up my nostril and boom I have a bump on the inside of my nostril it stings when I clean it what do you suggest?

I got a double nose piercing now both of them have dark marks around them one still has the same jewelry in from when it was pierced 2 months before how do I lighten them both? And get one of the bumps down?

mine was huge and filled with puss and i took just a needle clean my hands my nose and the needle and poked it and took q tip and cleaned it and did it again the next day and now they scab fell off and it's gone

that’s from the jewelry oxidizing from your skin. your jewelry is most likely stainless steel or another cheap material. change it to something like titanium, implant grade surgical steel or niobium before the greying spreads. most of the time the grey stain is permanent but you can improve it by changing out the jewelry as quick as you can.

I reopened by piercing at home and used a cheap earring and my good ones dont get here until next week and the hole is tarnished black I'm really scared

@@faithboe7101 okay your going to be okay order titanium stud earrings online and change those for another pair and before you do that clean it with running over over it in the shower or something and bring a little mirror in and make sure the black is gone if there is any and after that dry the water off carefully with a q tip and put in the new other earrings that are not tarnished and take those out when showering until you get your titanium ones which you can shower in I will send you the link to the ones I have xx

ive used toothpaste before and it did work after two nights but mine ended up coming back so i used toothpaste again bc it worked so well the first time. but the next morning i had a burn from the toothpaste on my nose and it was there for like a week until i could finally peel it off like a scab. pleaseeeee be careful if you’re going to use toothpaste and don’t put too much if you’re still going to try it
