Norwich to Cromer on Sanders Coaches Ltd X44 Big Yellow Bus!

Hi all! This week, I have a short video I made in the summer about a great value trip with Sanders Coaches Ltd from Norwich up to Cromer. Interestingly, the company have recently invested in some new buses, one of which I believe was ear-marked for this route.
This bus was pretty-old, no frills but it did the job. I'd be interested to know what the new ones are like as I'm sure they're an improvement.
Anyway, have a watch and let me know what you think. Have you ever tried this company? What do you think of Norwich? And, do you prefer Cromer or Sheringham?
Thanks as always guys for taking the time to watch my videos. All likes, comments, subs are massively appreciated and it really encourages me to make more content for you all to enjoy.
Cheers for now.
Mark

Great to re-visit Norfolk where I enjoyed living for many years. A fine commentary, and very informative about Norwich itself. Sanders do seem to have upped their game since I last saw their vehicles. As Les Dawson would have said, some of them were insured for fire, theft and Viking raids. For anyone visiting the north coast of the county, I might suggest that Sheringham is not to be missed as it has a preserved steam railway and an old station building. Full of atmosphere, and you can travel to the lovely little town of Holt.

Great video! I remember doing this route before the pandemic, where you could get a combined Sanders Coaches-Lynx ticket which meant you could technically do Norwich to Kings Lynn via the coast on the X44, Sanders CH1 and Lynx 36 through Cromer, Sheringham, Wells and Hunstanton. Might need to do it againh haha!

Having taken both the train to Sheringham and this bus route, I actually prefer the bus for this trip and it's not that much slower than the train but way more frequent. It's just more scenic and Aylsham is a great little place. Also the rail station in Norwich is awkwardly located for the town centre. Norwich does really well for cross county bus services, filling in many of the gaps in the regions train services. It is good there is space for both buses and trains in the region though, they can work together really well. But Sanders are a great local company and very reliable in my experience, Norfolk is lucky to have them. Both coasthopper routes are great too. I'd happily see Arriva and First gone if they were replaced by quality local family run bus companies like Sanders. Also hard to say which of the two towns of Cromer and Sheringham is better, they are both charming and just great places to be, love North Norfolk but hard to believe they are just around the coast from run down Great Yarmouth!

@@LetsMakeaTrip I’m not a local, a tourist instead lol. I just like going to Norwich and Norfolk in general as Greater Anglia are doing discounted tickets called hare fares several times a year it seems, so cost just £15 return from just outside of London to Norfolk. I rid the X44 only 3 weeks ago and really liked it. There are a few places up there I would like to go back to and see more properly for sure.
