As a Norwegian, but also a longtime viewer of yours for 10 years, it's so lovely and special, watching these videos. I'm so glad you all seem to enjoy our tiny magical country.

Going on a cruise has always made me feel a bit nervous/never really appealed to me. But these videos have just been so lovely and have changed my mind about cruises. The views just look incredible, and it’s so nice that you can do everything at your own pace 😊

When Darcy was getting ready at 12:16 I thought, "she looks like one of the twins from the 90's Parent Trap" and then sure enough, she said that that's what she was going for 😊 She has fabulous taste in clothes and films 😉

I've never been interested in cruises/definitely had a lot of stereotypes about them, but watching this changed my mind! as an exchange student living in Norway, this has really lifted my spirits and reminded me of what a beautiful country it is! I was feeling so low and homesick but this is just the perspective shift I needed to be more appreciative

those views are stunning! Top tip for walking down steep paths, walk in a zig zag, by increasing the distance you walk you will also decrease the incline, and it also means if you fall it is much easier to recover and you won't take a tumble!

I went on this cruise last year having never done a cruise before and this is bringing back all the memories, they really are quite special 😊 our 1 year old had just learnt to walk at the time and loved exploring!

The ship and the scenery all look amazing! I’m looking into Norwegian cruises now! The lakes and mountains really remind me of Banff and the Canadian rockies where we went in 2019. I highly recommend 🥰

My gosh I had so many of those giant pencils from holidays and school because at my school you were able to pick them from the birthday box if your birthday was coming up! What a throwback😂looks like you are all had an amazing time💜

I really enjoy these videos. It’s so much fun seeing you explore parts my home country ❤ I was also impressed by how well you pronounced Hellesylt 👍 The west is absolutely gorgeous ❤ I’ve grown up in the east and middle of Norway (I’m labelled a “halvtrønder”, which means that one parent grew up in Trøndelag and the other somewhere else) 😅 It’s always been back and forth between the different areas for me I also just wanted to note that Norwegians call it fiskesprett (fish skips/jumps) when you say that you’re skipping stones. It’s a really fun way of just spending some time and letting the mind rest a little ❤

@Louise Pentland That's brilliant! She is beautiful, I still remember the gentle sway months later. Also, plenty of us ladies had swollen feet and ankles after the first day on our cruise. At least you had flip flops, I brought ballet pumps, thank goodness. They were just supposed to be used if the seas were rough. But ended up wearing them most of the cruise to dinner as every night the feet would be swollen. Xx

They kids club was included in the price of the cabin so it was great!! You don't pay for any of the shows or cinema, they are included too. There is a small charge for some of the speciality restaurants but that's it! xxx

Thank you! We didn't do a drinks package because we don't really drink enough to make it worth it for us and I would say a room with a balcony is worth the money because some of the best moments I had were out there watching the stunning views and being outside make me feel part of them if that makes sense xxx

We are due on this cruise in August 2024. I’m a little nervous now as my son will be 2.5 and the excursions don’t look overly buggy friendly? What do you think Louise?
