What an incredible experience! There is so much beauty in this world and I’m not just talking about scenery but everything around us. But what a unique experience you guys had, the whales are very clever, they would have been watching you. They could have very easily come up right beneath your boat but it looks like they wanted to “play around” and show you what they can do so instead of upturning your boat, they gave you a display RIGHT next to you. By the way, you live in one of the most beautiful countries in the world. I am totally addicted to watching videos on Norway, breathtaking and jaw dropping.

Brukernavn yes! I know. That and a few curse words I learned from my Norwegian friends. I was in Norway years ago. I stayed trondheim for awhile. My friend lived in Jonesvonette. The spelling is wrong. It was way out in the country. We went out on the hills looking for titaberries. At the time, a slagbjorn was in the area causing problems. Norway was beautiful. I stayed on Denmark for a month or so. I hear the immigration problem has changed it so much. Sweden is really in bad shape . The Norwegian ships were the best. Tankers are orange and white. I knew quite a few seamen male and female. Good old Days!

Look we all need to work together and make the habitat as good as possible for these creatures. If its good for them its good for us. If they die we die. 6th mass extinction. is that supposed to be a summer's midnight, where sun never sets, or winters midday where sun never shows up? :D Norway looks to be beautiful and I dream of doing a bicycle trip from central europe all the way to the north of norway one day. Also. I heard you can get a fine if too close to a whale is that true? Because I would really love to encounter whales one day, but not if they fine me 100k euros for that :D
@Brukernavnn
5 жыл бұрын
This was in November, the colors in the sky are typical for the starting period of the polar night. You can get fined if you act irresponsibly near the whales, best bet is to book a tour with a whale safari company. They know where you have the best chance of seeing them. Notice that the guys in the video had turned off their engine and just floated there to not disturb the whales.

Norway is beautiful.

Fucking hell, when are we going to stop acting like assholes and totally start loving our planet and other creatures ? We might be one species that have had encounters with the most creatures in this planet from bacteria to baboon, yet we are far behind in having proper communication and understanding between us and the other. Hell we cannot properly communicate and understand ourselves ?!

i like how the whales waited until they are close enough to the boats and then showed up all at once.
Norwegian people swear so elegantly 😉👍
I think they were bubble netting. The bubbles probably weren't from the herring.

That is such a beautiful scene in a gorgeous environment. It truly depresses me that what you just witnessed used to be commonplace and now you are in the vast minority of people to witness whales feeding, let alone humpbacks. The Anthropocene Epoch. Look we all need to work together and make the habitat as good as possible for these creatures. If its good for them its good for us. If they die we die. 6th mass extinction. Please work together people. Thanks for posting this beautiful and now rare sight.

Are they hunting whales? Or the name of the wales are hunting wales? Sorry for my English....but I'm confused...
Wow, beautiful...
Bubbles in combination with humpbacks is a sign for lunge feeding. The whales create a net of bubbles to circle the fish and then they catch it by swimming to the surface with open mouths😉
Great video. But please consider adding the translated swearing. The translation currently looks silly without it :)

Swearing doesn't translate well, it would just end up being swearing in a different language without having the same meaning.
Whales demonstrate to Norwegian fishermen how to scare the bejaysus out of a school of fish.
They're bubble netting! I saw a pod do this slightly differently off of Wrangle, Alaska. It was fascinating and incredible, although whale breath is pretty fearsome.

is that supposed to be a summer's midnight, where sun never sets, or winters midday where sun never shows up? :D Norway looks to be beautiful and I dream of doing a bicycle trip from central europe all the way to the north of norway one day. Also. I heard you can get a fine if too close to a whale is that true? Because I would really love to encounter whales one day, but not if they fine me 100k euros for that :D
