Glad I am not the only one that's a lil ... shocked. This song has much more character in my opinion. The odds for Iceland dropped quickly after the winner announcement, too... lol.

One word: Palestinian. It should tell you why odds dropped when he didn't win.

HELLO GUYS We were 99.9% sure this would win the Söngvakeppnin 2024, so we recorded this video. Unfortunently this wasn't the case.. We still decided to upload the video anyways and call it the "Real Winner" because we liked it 10x better. We will make a new reaction of the actual winner in a few days! Drop a comment about which song you prefer!

The Icelandic version is much better

All Iceland choices were poor this year but I'm soooooo happy that this never won. It was terrible and if it was picked, it would have probably won eurovision purely based on politics and I think its downright disrespectful to every other country and completely ruins eurovision. Ukraine is still kind of ruining it just now (one of the favourites with a very average song but theyre Ukraine so they'll do well) I like it when its a fair competition and this wouldn't have made it fair
