The point of this is Devon's strength training on the table. He doesn't care about the elbows. He even trained with Mask pulling him with 2 hands not long ago: the goal is the grind. The grind to the top and he's bringing us along on his journey, if all you noticed is elbow "fowls", I think you might have missed what Devon is showing.

Yeah I do understand that the point is to get get most out of the workout it's why by the guy being able to foul on Devon gets extra leverage and force therefore Devon gets more out of the workout using more force it's pretty easy to understand for me. Others I think there just making jokes and stuff some other no. Fighting vs the press lately there's this new kind press that Europeans adopted that people have train for now.

At around 5:15, I think im noticing something interesting: I think Devon was testing a counter flop press strategy. I think he doesn't let the guy flop, he forces his wrist to stay flat so that its impossible to go low and engage deep in the press. I'm trying to pay attention. Letting him top roll is a trap into a flop press.

@@RaviShankar... ISLAM IS RACIST! ESPECIALLY TOWARDS BLACK PEOPLE! (3-106) Sahih International: On the Day [some] faces will turn white and [some] faces will turn black. As for those whose faces turn black, [to them it will be said], "Did you disbelieve after your belief? Then taste the punishment for what you used to reject." Sahih al-Bukhari 7142 Narrated Anas bin Malik: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "You should listen to and obey, your ruler even if he was an Ethiopian (black) slave whose head looks like a raisin." Sahih Muslim 1602 Jabir (Allah be pleased with him) reported: There came a slave and pledg- ed allegiance to Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) on migration; he (the Holy Prophet) did not know that he was a slave. Then there came his master and demanded him back, whereupon Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) said: Sell him to me. And he bought him for two black slaves, and he did not afterwards take allegiance from anyone until he had asked him whether he was a slave (or a free man) Sahih al-Bukhari 987, 988 Narrated `Urwa on the authority of `Aisha: On the days of Mina, (11th, 12th, and 13th of Dhul-Hijjah) Abu Bakr came to her while two young girls were beating the tambourine and the Prophet (ﷺ) was lying covered with his clothes. Abu Bakr scolded them and the Prophet (ﷺ) uncovered his face and said to Abu Bakr, "Leave them, for these days are the days of `Id and the days of Mina." `Aisha further said, "Once the Prophet (ﷺ) was screening me and I was watching the display of black slaves in the Mosque and (`Umar) scolded them. The Prophet (ﷺ) said, 'Leave them. O Bani Arfida! (carry on), you are safe (protected)'." Ishaq 243: I heard the Apostle say: ‘Whoever wants to see Satan should look at Nabtal!' He was a black man with long flowing hair, inflamed eyes, and dark ruddy cheeks…. Allah sent down concerning him: ‘To those who annoy the Prophet there is a painful doom." [9:61] "Gabriel came to Moham-mad and said, ‘If a black man comes to you his heart is more gross than a donkey's.' Ishaq 374: The black troops and slaves of the Meccans cried out and the Muslims replied, ‘Allah destroy your sight, you impious rascals.’ Ibn Musa al-Yahsubi, Qadi ‘Iyad, p.375: Ahmad ibn Abi Sulayman, the companion of Sahnun said, “Anyone who says that the Prophet was black should be killed." Mishkat, v. iii, p. 117: "Abu Darda reported that the Holy Prophet said: Allah created Adam when he created him (sic). Then He stroke (sic) his right shoulder and took out a white race as if they were seeds, and He stroke (sic) his left shoulder and took out a black race as if they were coals. Then He said to those who were in his right side: Towards paradise and I don't care. He said to those who were on his left shoulder: Towards Hell and I don't care. - Ahmad" Islam is an ideology, whose sacred Scriptures contain explicit denigrating remarks about black people. Moham-mad referred to Blacks as "raisin heads". (Sahih al-Bukhari vol. 1, no. 662 and vol. 9, no. 256). In another Hadith, Moham-mad is quoted as saying that Blacks are, "pug-nosed slaves". (Sahih Moslem vol. 9, p. 46-47). GALATIANS 3:28-29 We are all one in Christ Jesus

@@RaviShankar... MOHAMMED WAS BEWITCHED/POSSESSED BY SATAN! Sahih al-Bukhari 6391 Narrated `Aisha: that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) was affected by magic, so much that he used to think that he had done something which in fact, he did not do, and he invoked his Lord (for a remedy). Then (one day) he said, "O `Aisha!) Do you know that Allah has advised me as to the problem I consulted Him about?" `Aisha said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! What's that?" He said, "Two men came to me and one of them sat at my head and the other at my feet, and one of them asked his companion, 'What is wrong with this man?' The latter replied, 'He is under the effect of magic.' The former asked, 'Who has worked magic on him?' The latter replied, 'Labid bin Al-A'sam.' The former asked, 'With what did he work the magic?' The latter replied, 'With a comb and the hair, which are stuck to the comb, and the skin of pollen of a date-palm tree.' The former asked, 'Where is that?' The latter replied, 'It is in Dharwan.' Dharwan was a well in the dwelling place of the (tribe of) Bani Zuraiq. Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) went to that well and returned to `Aisha, saying, 'By Allah, the water (of the well) was as red as the infusion of Hinna, (1) and the date-palm trees look like the heads of devils.' `Aisha added, Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) came to me and informed me about the well. I asked the Prophet, 'O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ), why didn't you take out the skin of pollen?' He said, 'As for me, Allah has cured me and I hated to draw the attention of the people to such evil (which they might learn and harm others with).' " Narrated Hisham's father: `Aisha said, "Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) was bewitched, so he invoked Allah repeatedly requesting Him to cure him from that magic)." Hisham then narrated the above narration. (See Hadith No. 658, Vol. 7) 22.52-54 Kathir - Ibn Al KathirHow the Shaytan threw some Falsehood into the Words of the Messengers, and how Allah abolishedAt this point many of the scholars of Tafsir mentioned the story of the Gharaniq and how many of those who had migrated to Ethiopia came back when they thought that the idolators of the Quraysh had become Muslims, but these reports all come through Mursal chains of narration and I do not think that any of them may be regarded as Sahih. And Allah knows best. Al-Bukhari said, "Ibn `Abbas said,فِى أُمْنِيَّتِهِ(in his recitation (of the revelation).) "When he spoke, the Shaytan threw (some falsehood) into his speech, but Allah abolished that which the Shaytan threw in.''ثُمَّ يُحْكِمُ اللَّهُ ءَايَـتِهِ(Then Allah establishes His revelations.) `Ali bin Abi Talhah reported that Ibn `Abbas said,إِذَا تَمَنَّى أَلْقَى الشَّيْطَـنُ فِى أُمْنِيَّتِهِ(when he did recite (the revelation), Shaytan threw (some falsehood) in it) "When he spoke, the Shaytan threw (some falsehood) into his speech.'' Mujahid said:إِذَا تُمْنَى(when he did recite) "When he spoke.'' It was said that it refers to his recitation, whereas,إِلاَّ أَمَانِىَّ(but they trust upon Amani) means they speak but they do not write. Al-Baghawi and the majority of the scholars of Tafsir said:تَمَنَّى(he did recite) "Reciting the Book of Allah.''أَلْقَى الشَّيْطَـنُ فِى أُمْنِيَّتِهِ(Shaytan threw (some falsehood) in it) "In his recitation.'' Ad-Dahhak said:إِذَا تُمْنَى(when he did recite) "When he recited.'' Ibn Jarir said, "This comment is more akin to interpretation.''فَيَنسَخُ اللَّهُ مَا يُلْقِى الشَّيْطَـنُ(But Yansakh Allah that which Shaytan throws in.) The meaning of the word Naskh in Arabic is to remove or lift away. `Ali bin Abi Talhah reported that Ibn `Abbas said, "This means, Allah cancels out that which the Shaytan throws in.''وَاللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ(And Allah is All-Knower,) means, He knows all matters and events that will happen, and nothing whatsoever is hidden from Him.حَكِيمٌ(All-Wise.) means, in His decree, creation and command, He has perfect wisdom and absolute proof, hence He says:لِّيَجْعَلَ مَا يُلْقِى الشَّيْطَـنُ فِتْنَةً لِّلَّذِينَ فِى قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٌ(That He (Allah) may make what is thrown in by Shaytan a trial for those in whose hearts is a disease) meaning, doubt, Shirk, disbelief and hypocrisy. Ibn Jurayj said:الَّذِينَ فِى قُلُوبِهِمْ مَّرَضٌ(those in whose hearts is a disease) "The hypocrites, andوَالْقَاسِيَةِ قُلُوبُهُمْ(and whose hearts are hardened.) means the idolators.''وَإِنَّ الظَّـلِمِينَ لَفِى شِقَاقٍ بَعِيدٍ(And certainly, the wrongdoers are in an opposition far-off.) means, far away in misguidance, resistance and stubbornness, i.e., far from the truth and the correct way.وَلِيَعْلَمَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ الْعِلْمَ أَنَّهُ الْحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّكَ فَيُؤْمِنُواْ بِهِ(And that those who have been given knowledge may know that it is the truth from your Lord, so that they may believe therein,) means, `so that those who have been given beneficial knowledge with which they may differentiate between truth and falsehood, those who believe in Allah and His Messenger, may know that what We have revealed to you is the truth from your Lord, Who has revealed it by His knowledge and under His protection, and He will guard it from being mixed with anything else.' Indeed, it is the Wise Book which,لاَّ يَأْتِيهِ الْبَـطِلُ مِن بَيْنِ يَدَيْهِ وَلاَ مِنْ خَلْفِهِ تَنزِيلٌ مِّنْ حَكِيمٍ حَمِيدٍ(Falsehood cannot come to it from before it or behind it, (it is) sent down by the All-Wise, Worthy of all praise (Allah).) 41:42فَيُؤْمِنُواْ بِهِ(so that they may believe therein,) means, that they may believe that it is true and act upon it.فَتُخْبِتَ لَهُ قُلُوبُهُمْ(and their hearts may submit to it with humility.) means, that their hearts may humble themselves and accept it.وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَهَادِ الَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ إِلَى صِرَطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ(And verily, Allah is the Guide of those who believe, to the straight path.) means, in this world and in the Hereafter. In this world, He guides them to the truth and helps them to follow it and to resist and avoid falsehood; in the Hereafter, He will guide them to the straight path which leads to the degrees of Paradise, and He will save them from the painful torment and the dismal levels of Hell.

@Devon Larratt why don’t you practice defending/countering a press like ongarbayev did against MMT? It looks like you guys have different ways handling that move.

Hey guys, question for you all... In situations such as this video, where one guys arms are a lot shorter, and elbow is off the pad, can a higher pad be installed on the table ? I'm just wondering how they would fix that issue, otherwise he's going to foul out all the time against much taller competition, right ? Damn, Devon, we love watching you teach these young bulls how it's done. You are also getting good training out of traveling around everywhere and hanging out, getting to know different athletes and figuring out their strengths and weaknesses, all while gaining more followers and promoting the sport of arm Wrestling around the World !

The problem with a higher elbow pad is if the person using it gets pinned his arm will twisted farther down than usual

Surprised you don't practice more with your body turned like you do in matches. Wouldn't that help with side pressure?

I like that the guy’s elbow is flying all over the place. He’s the perfect training partner for Devon’s rematch with Gennadi because that’s exactly how Gennadi arm wrestles 😂 Don’t expect the referees to penalize the flying elbow.
