NORWAY P&O IONA CRUISE - STAVANGER • Adventure at the Petroleum Museum & Geopark!

#Norway #stavanger #cruisevlogs
Welcome to Day 2 of our Norway Cruise! We explore Stavanger and visit the Petroleum Museum ( Norsk Oljemuseum) & have lots of fun at the Geopark!
We are so glad we visited the Petroleum museum, it was really interesting and very interactive for the kids. We would recommend it, and it's budget friendly too at around £30 for a family of 5. All the prices are shown on their website here: www.norskolje.museum.no/en/ho...
The Geopark is right outside opposite the museum, the kids would have spent ages there bouncing around on the buoys and climbing the structures. They had a great time.
Stavanger itself is a gorgeous little town with a mixture of old and modern architecture. There's plenty to explore with shops, markets, and cafes. As well as open top tour buses, boat rides & walking trails.
We spent a good number of hours enjoying our Stavanger adventure then headed back to Iona for lunch and a dip in one of the hot tubs while the ship was a little quieter :)
If you have any questions about Stavanger, Iona or any part of our trip, please leave a comment below and we'll try our best to help.
In the meantime, thank you so much for watching, please subscribe if you would like, it's completely free! As well as liking the video, it really helps our videos reach those who may be searching for similar topics!
Until next week!
Much love - Nikki

Hi Paul! 👋🏻 Ahh that's fantastic news! And congratulations for 2026, what a way to celebrate! 🤩 It will soon come round, we booked over a year in advance and it flew! It helped watching everyone's videos pop up on KZread, they really help you to look forward to it and plan things you want to do. Do you have Facebook? If you haven't already there's some groups on there which have lots of useful info. There should also be one to join for the week you're going if you search for your cruise number... ours was G403 I think. I'm sure you will really love Norway, we would go back in a heartbeat. Thank you so much for watching the vlogs! 🙏🏼🤗

@kellydoug8817 That sounds perfect! We need to go back to explore a bit more as we did trips in Olden and Alesund this time. Give us an excuse to go again! 😉

We enjoyed our day in Stavanger. It was a common theme that all the phones moved on another hour. It took a while to sort it out. We found that the shops seemed very expensive to us. We were also in the atrium listening to the choir.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who did that then 🙈 I just didn't twig on and thought time had just gone really fast! 😆 Mike and Spencer's phone were right though, I think their settings were set to automatically change when they switched their data back on. We didn't end up going in the shops unfortunately, we were going to get back off later on to nip in the souvenir shop but ran out of time after our dip in the hot tub. We did hear rumours Norway is quite expensive before we went but was happy with the price of the museum we went to. I think you can claim your tax back if you save your receipts which could be worth looking into, even on food. The choir were fab to hear! Thank you for watching Neil! ☺️
