In contrast to other level crossings with this setup I like how the barriers don't lower immediately as the alarms start to sound. Much safer & less scary.

Nice one! I was always curious about when you'd come here! Glad those wheel-operated barriers are still there too.

The box will be decommissioned on Sunday 7th February and the manual barriers will be replaced by automatic barriers with warning lights.

Nice! Those alarms go out too early although they sound quite nice and like Bainton Green's alarms! Also, it looks as though these barriers are wheel-operated too?

I like this crossing. The Barriers could do with a renewal though. 👍🚦
