    The moose was smart to stay in the water just deep enough to make the wolf swim and tire out while keeping his feet grounded, saving energy.

    Lucky it was water. Normally wolves have incredible stamina. So much so that one of their hunting tactics is to chase their prey until the prey can no longer run. They'll run them down for several miles effortlessly.

    THIS is the value of KZread. Ordinarily such a scene would be wrapped up in an hour-long documentary on wild Canada or something similar. Our attention spans today don't want to commit to such an hour-long endeavour, and so we never see such sights. But we'll take a chance on a 6-minute clip, hoping that it's something of substance and not clickbait. And this - this - is a fantastic video. A part of life we never really see. Thank you for this.

    Best video you've seen on youtube is a drone pilot interfering with nature by distracting a wolf while its trying to chase down the moose? smh to think people would value and encourage this kind of behavior.... The video was really cool until the drone pilot decided he was going to fly low (like 15ft altitude) and buzz past the wolf while he is chasing down the injured moose. He should be fined.

    bob pete because the person flying the drone is interfering with the animals hunt, it literally looks like the done scares the wolf away at the end. It’s very detrimental to the wellbeing of natural environments if people interfere like that, that wolf may of been able to make a successful kill without the drone flying over it, or if the drone had been flown properly so as not to interfere as any naturalist worth their salt would have recognised they needed to do.

    I know a guy who is does nothing but study the relationship between wolves and moose on Isle Royal National Park and one of the things he has seen many times is a wolf or wolves hanging onto a moose with no wounds other that purely superficial and the moose will just fall over dead. He believes that moose stress out fairly easily and just cardiac arrest or die from shock or something simular. So maybe that wolf knew exactly what he was doing.

  • @corncakes6683

    @corncakes6683

    meh, you basically missed the entire point and went on pointing out shit everyone already knows, it's easier to be a vegetarian than it is a carnivore, specifically if you're a human because you don't have to go out and worry about eating bad plants or anything like that, but everything you said basically only applies if you're an animal in the wild which I 100% agree with. there are merits to being a carnivore like not having to worry about eating toxic plants, but the whole moral argument you made about plants having nightmares is silly, cause you sound like a butthurt vegan. I eat a pretty average american diet, steak and potatoes all the way, but plants can't feel shit let's be real here and even if that did happen it doesn't stop me from eating steak, so sucks to be that plant haha

    Ken Cornflocker Never is correct! But not in Waters where he clearly has to swim and the moose just have to walk! It wasn’t never gonna happen there that’s for sure! and the moose natural instinct to survive Knew that! At that point the hungry wolf would have been in Danger of drowning!

    One wolf couldn't have taken down the moose by its self anyway the drone didn't matter.

    It’s tough to watch Bullwinkle’s wife be attacked like that, especially after all the good things he and Rocket J. Squirrel have accomplished.

    That one wolf by its self never had a chance but was hungry so had to try. It's natural order of things carnivores eat meat.

    reality bites - Unfortunately, the Bullwinkle marriage was on the rocks at this time and they were in the midst of a trial separation. The lady was staying with her great aunt in northern Ontario for a few weeks. You’ll be glad to know they reconciled and have been living together happily in Frostbite Falls ever since fighting the Russkis. There is speculation Boris and Natasha falsely accused Bullwinkle of infidelity which is what caused their marital difficulties to begin with.
