Looks like that performance was from a culture gala that gathered musicians, movie people and other such artists together and it was also shown live on TV.

2023 now...Marko Hietala has changed a lot. New marriage, no more in Nightwish, a baby daughter, some menthal issues, a solo career, so many things in 6 years. But, always talented, charismatic and with a powerful voice.

METAL at a gala, that is normal! LOVE YOU FINLAND!

I was born in the wrong country. Finland seems amazing. Fantastic music, beautiful landscape, a lovely language and if I recall a pretty nice government. Lucky Finns.

I was born into this country and now with 53 years of experience I can say you're partially right... Partially as you mentioned politics. Politics is bullsh*t in every country. Then we have the winter - it's dark and cold but can be beautiful too. But as you mentioned music, landscape and language (among a few other things) are fabulous ;) ...
